Yes, and improving spelling as well.

Ephraim 'Jock' Dodds, the oldest surviving FA cup finalist, who played in the 1936 final for Sheffield United, has died at the age of 91.For many years he held the football league record for the fastest hat-trick in football (2mins 30 secs), he also scord a hat-trick for Scotland against England in a wartime international.
Every match between Scotland and England was a wartime international!

You guys kind of suck at this whole "guessing who's going to die" thing.I'd say the entire list is going to die. Maybe not this year, true, but die they will.
Much as I hate to disagree with such an esteemed and erstwhile mod, I think you'll find that Clive Dunn is on this years list and as has been established by us many moons ago he may well be immortal.

Link not working.Still works for me, perhaps it's plagiarism karma!

*Mod trigger finger itching wildly*
The title of the thread is "Patrick Moore". Not "Patrick Moore and accompanying slanging match". If you want to go outside and have a fight, can I refer you to the "Extra Curricular" forum?
Thank you kindly

On the basis of spouses following recently deceased partners, my money's on Betty Ford.....
Oh, and 11 on the basis that it's my sister's birthdate - such logic!

With a bit of luck his good friend Mrs T might try to make it over to his funeral and suffer some unfortunate (for her) mishap. Polonium Airways, anyone?
-
It's still touch and go, apparently - just when I'd pencilled him in for 2007 too!

Well, I'm off to sunny SA tomorrow so keep the place tidy and I'll report back in 3 weeks - unless I get deported for smuggling Steeleye Span CDs into the country, of course. Maybe if I hid them in packets of cocaine I might get away with it?
-
I leave for South Africa in 6 days time - wish I hadn't read this thread now, I feel I might be either murdered, carjacked, robbed, raped, denied promotion, denied benefits and forced to take a garlic shower to ward off HIV, maleria, typhoid and possibly a slight sniffle.
I'll report back at the end of the month and let you know what disasters have befallen me!
-
Good job too, makes my reporting a little easier. We are due to be staying in Wilderness (where he lived in retirement), wonder if they'll have any memorials or the like?

Were those the same Vikings that invaded England, got to Maryport, realised it was colder and wetter than Scandinavia and went back home again?

In the hole Byron! For those of you who know who Tom Byron is, that quote needs no explanation!

As far as I can remember we've had apologies for slavery, the Crusades, the Civil War, nailing up Jesus and all manner of historical events several hundred years after they occured. I'm not sure who they were apologising too, exactly, but in 1763 one of my forefathers stubbed his toe on a neighbours housemaid that he had carelessly left lying around after sacking her and to the best of my knowledge there was never so much as a "mind how you go, Sirrah" - I'll be suing Penge District Council for compensation in due course.......

Wonder how long the drive to the funeral service will be? My guess is 294 yards......

Is Angi O'Plasty a well known Irish surgeon?

If you could put some effort into finding lookalikes for Kochanski, then it may be an improvement

Surely the George Michael Appreciation Society would be having a cruise rather than a surf.......

And is that why hedgehogs are always smiling?

Dear Abby/Mr Hopkins
I have an unsatiable lust and overwhelming feelings towards agony aunts. Can you help?
Thanks
TFH
P.S. Dribble drool slobber, oops sorry, it's never happened to me before
-
Quite frankly I think that's unlikely, if you had to prove it I don't think you'd have a leg to stand on.......

Depends on whose life you are referring to - Mrs T's life has been far too long!
