  1. Didn't realise she was a DDP pick. It's never straight forward confirming the deaths of terrorists.

Apparently, she was killed back in June. They couldn't confirm whether her lad was killed in the attack so they didn't release any info. The drone strike wouldn't have gone ahead had they known he was in the danger zone, so they say.

  2. 'Better Call Saul' Season 3 will likely remain my favourite show of the year. Though a little slower in pace than BB, the two share the same effort of character development & subplots which eventually lead into the bigger story.

Cracking performance from Jonathan Banks as Mike  Ehrmantraut, a fan favourite & probably drives the action forward more so than the titular character.

    How about actor Norman Lloyd?

He's turning 103 in November, and he's still acting to this day.

Just watched an episode of 'The Twilight Zone' from 1986 called 'The Last Defender of Camelot'.

Norman played a manipulative aging Merlin who is revealed to be living in Cornwall and is coming out of a deep sleep.

One character from the past makes an observation that in the future it is far more difficult to tell who the treacherous leaders are & that our weapons can poison the earth so there is no longer room for errors or bad judgement.

  4. Disney imagineer Xavier Atencio turns 98 next September.

He created 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Haunted Mansion' attractions.

Incidentally they were both adapted to the big screen. One successful, one not so.

I would happily share a link to his Wiki profile, however I'm still adjusting to using this device for forum going.

  5.

Had Sky News on for half an hour before work. Fidel's passing was trumpeted on their glorious yellow conveyor banner however was not mentioned once by the presenters. Instead they discussed Black Friday and Dodgy football bosses. Understandably the news is in its early days but BBC have failed to mention anything other than Castro.

Good to see you back, dean.

    Thanks, Drol,

    I missed death.
