Interview with him in the Telegraph:

The truth is, he never usually walks on the beach. ‘Because my knees hurt a bit.’

He laughs. ‘I should have died years ago.’

    Hmmm

  2. Grammy winner Ethel Gabriel hits 98 today. She produced records for Elvis Presley and Perry Como amongst other big names back in the day. She was also the first female producer attached to a major label.

Rewatching The X-Files and the conspiracy group have shown up. I used to think the guy in charge was played by Jay Leno.

25 years later, I don't, obviously. But anyhow, that is Don S Williams who was antagonist in three series of The X-Files, so I went to his Wiki to see what became of him and it looked very vandalised.

But then a glance at the history said that page had been edited a few times this year, yet the uncited death claim had been kept. So I went digging and found this:

So yeah, Random Uncited Wiki Guy is right.

Of the Syndicate, only 4 are still alive btw:

    Nicholas Lea (Krychek) b 1962

Jerry Hardin (Deep Throat) b. 1929

William B Davis (Cigarette Smoking Man, of course) b. 1938

All of whom will will piss obits in their sleep.

And also: Armin Mueller-Stahl (b. 1930) who was Strughold the Big Boss in the film, and who has been in everything from The West Wing to Shine (for which he was Oscar nominated, so another QO cert).

Peter Donat, George Murdock, Walter Gotell and the great John Neville are all long gone now.

I was surprised to see that Mulder is 60 next year.

Link below - so me and my mates get another rollover by the look of it. Not actually cancelled. I'm guessing on the present evidence that Judas Priest (support act) are tied into this as well because they were support to the first postponed shows. So it must be fucking with their schedule quite a bit

Tom Jones cancelled a local concert last year and rather than refunding the concert goers they were instead invited to watch a video presentation of one of his famous BBC performances. Don't know which is worse but a bit of a cop out for the fans that, I thought. Hopefully it won't go the same way for you or even worse (not for the DL) being invited to watch a tribute montage.

OK, I dont expect much of you to be interested in a student remake of a lost Dr Who episode, but this video 4 mins in (should open at that time) has a recent interview with the great British TV actor Edward de Souza, who is now 87.

Flipping terrified the shit out of me as a kid in Sapphire and Steel, he did. Great actor. Good to see he's still going.

I remember him from 'The Spy Who Loved Me'.

I absolutely love Halloween :axe:. Me and wife actually dressing up this year (first time i've dressed up for Halloween in a long time) and my daughter is very excited, bought her the first part of her outfit today! Going all out this year decorations the lot. Yea I know....bought into the whole marketing BS but  Halloween when I was a kid wasn't as big a deal as it is now.

In the 90s trick or treating I received alot of money as people were ill prepared for trick or treaters but my daughter received no money last year.  That's the only big change I can think of can anyone think of how Halloween has changed for them over the years?  Has Halloween changed in America over the generations?  I think it defo has in the UK.

I think so. We've had an insane amount of trick or treaters and Halloween parties going on in our area these past 5 years. I think alot of parents enjoy it more than the kids now, that's what I put it down to.

My daughter doesn't quite understand it yet but certainly enjoys dressing up and seeing all of the decorations. She's too young for trick or treating so just taking her to a party instead.

There is no such thing as a bad pick, just a pick ahead of it's time. Every pick will eventually be proven correct.

It would be very dull if the committee were choosing 50 names that they think will die at some point in the next 10,000 years though.
