No, I'm not dead yet, although I may well go before you coz I'm older than you.

Mind you, if you keep wanking into socks you will, eventually, run out of all energy and zest a die surrounded by your own sperm.

Take that into account, the poor people who will find you and have to clean up after you.:)

In light of the above I wish to make it very clear (looking at YOU LFN) that this in not a sock account.

My father in law has been in hospital with heart issues since Wednesday. Today he looked bad  (I could not even understand his speech) and I fear things might get worse. I'm really linked to him and I'd be incredibly sorry if he dies. Plus last Sunday my mum was rushed to hospital as she turned suddenly violet/ black. She's already been discharged, but she has suffered from Alzheimer's since 2015 and I fear she might not have long left too. This happened shortly after another hospitalization for my father, with emphysema worsening. This has been a tough period, hope it gets better.

Hope so drol!  Here's to better times.

Didn't watch the ceremony so can't comment on today but Prince Charles looks awful for a man of 69 considering the lifestyle he has had and all the medical benefits he has obviously had.

HRH Charles has awfy puffy hands....

A cocaine habit can be enormously damaging to the heart and blood vessels .The risk of dying from an overdose is only part of the picture .

Aye when Lord Ice had his recent gripper (at a young-ish age) 'was he a cocaine user' 'twas the first question they asked? I hasten to add his turned out to be an genetic defect.

There was some story not too long ago about him having been on a diet.  I don't believe any of it.

He was on my very first DDP team ten years ago, on the grounds that he looked like the sort to keel over suddenly from a heart attack.

O?  Would that be the I've a monstrous tumour in my gut diet?  The woops the chemo's not working diet?  Or the ever popular cigar-smoker's COPD=iet?

It really is down to the luck of the draw on how long alcoholic's live my Grandad died at 78 years of age and Drank nothing but Guinness for over 50 years, he was drink driving for most of them and somehow never got caught, he survived heart attacks and strokes due to his drinking and eventually died from Alcohol related Dementia. He probably got a few more years than he should as he lived in a home for the last 15 years of his life which slowed down his drinking a bit but he never stopped until the Dementia took hold at the back end. My Uncle is pushing 70 and he still drinks like a fish and his liver must be shot as he is turning yellow now.

On the other hand my Cousin who was also an Alcoholic and Drank to excess was found dead at 25 years of age due to his drinking and i knew another lad who was an Alcoholic and Died at 24, he drank and managed to stop but then suddenly restarted on a drinking session that lasted a week and he died by choking on his vomit as he tried to drink to the levels he previously had and his body couldn't take it.

I have just turned 33 and i've also had issues with Alcohol and to be honest don't know how i have survived as i often drank between 50 and 70 pints a week or drink up to 7 litres of Cider in a session, i could go days without a drink but would then drink between 30 and 50 units a session and pass out drunk. I have ended up in Hospital, lost Jobs etc due to my Drinking and almost died on several occasions as often i would drink the equivalent of a litre of Vodka in one or two hours and collapse as my body couldn't take the abuse, i have coughed up blood and all sorts but i never died and i did this for years at a time.  I'm ashamed of a lot of the things i did when drinking, thankfully i'm sober at the moment and have been for well over a year apart from a one day binge last September were i ended up in a mess again, thankfully life is better Sober than Drunk but i know i could slip back into old habits very easily as i have done before, i just pray i don't.

Takes a person of rare character to put an halt to any addiction - especially the grog as it's so 'normalised' by our society - every celebration, every life event - all revolving around alcohol ....if ye let it.  Damn good going Fergie  :)

I've always thought he was asexual to be honest but  that's probably because I can't picture anyone wanted to have sex with him. Can't imagine you'd need a super-injunction for that though.

No mind can handle that yer Manx minxiness :)

Me? 44 now, grey and slightly overweight.

Oddly this puts me into the ‘Daddy’ category Grindr/dating wise. Does the ego good on occasions I can tell you.

Grieve but don’t forget buddy it does get sweeter life. Maybe not today or even tomorrow. But it does.

    Ooo Daddy!

At what point does 'slightly overweight' translate into 'Bear'  - or do you have to be hairy too?
