    Not really. I was more of a Blue Peter fan, however unfashionable that may be to admit. First stirrings of "hmm, he's nice" were probably Mike Holoway of Flintlock/Tomorrow People fame or Bobby Crush, who was really really cute when he was younger.

    Saying that though, rumours that Brenda has the Big C have been going around for donkeys years. I don't reckon there's anything in them myself - she'll live to be as old as her mum (Gawd bless 'er) and so won't be appearing on any deadpool list of mine until at least 2020.

    Most other online places I frequent believe deadpools are sick and in bad taste. I don't frequent these places that often these days as my comments of "blast, (fill in name of recently deceased) wasn't one of my picks" in threads of people dying aren't as appreciated as they would be here.

    I think it's a toss up whether the booze or the fags gets Kennedy first. I first came across him in 1990 and he was already addicted to both. Doubt very much if his liver and lungs can survive much longer.

    Does he really drink and smoke any more than the average bloke on the street though? His job is an extremely stressful one however, but I really don't think he will be a candidate in the near future.

    Apart from Rula Lenska as that would put the kibosh on any chance of a Little Ladies reunion.

     

    I'm hoping Barrymore will have a complete televised breakdown, though hopefully not commit suicide until at least 2007, for obvious reasons... :D

    I'm assuming you're in for the long haul. Tell me honestly, is it the feel good charm of Dickie O's old shows you like or do you genuinely rate the man as an accomplished thesp?

    I'm a child of the Seventies and so grew up with him being on the telly - I don't really like seeing all the old faces of my childhood dying as it makes me feel old (plus he's not in my deadpool so would rather him not cark it this year). Plus there wasn't that much in the way of male TV totty at the time so Dickie O probably ranked second after Richard Beckinsale.

    I always liked him - Robin's Nest was a bit tame but Man About The House was a smashing sitcom in the days when ITV could actually make sitcoms.

     

    As for his health, I have it on fairly good authority that while he's still living in the care home he's a lot better and going out and about to football matches and the like. So sorry to burst all those who have him on their list. Mind you, this is coming from someone who only five days ago said: "Ariel Sharon? He's fine, recovered from that little stroke, definitely not a contender for 2006"... :D
