The centre has expanded to allow room for them all, and they ALL want to make us pay more tax and assume more control over every aspect of our lives! So, left or right, it's all wrong.

It's true that the right has moved towards the center but the left in order to distance themselves and show themselves as 'pinacles of perfection' and 'beacons of forwardness' have moved so far to the left that they've slipped off the edges of reality several times. Add to this that the center has not expanded but rather it has shrunk. It only appears to have expanded as the lefties left. I am in anxious awaitment of the 2008 elections when we have Cruz Bustamante on the Dem ticket against Rudy Gulianni on the Republican ticket with Shrillery on the Indy ticket. Move over Ralph Nader you're through.
