Howards' Way hit the screens in 1985, so we are approaching the 40th anniversary of its first airing in 2025. 

 

Granted the main cast was split between those born in the 1960s and those from the 1940s and before, but over half the main cast have already qualified for a wake in the Jolly Sailor.

While checking the imdb actors list for Howards' Way I saw that Pamela Salem, who appeared as Mrs Travis in Howards' Way, and was also Moneypenny in Never Say Never Again, died in February 2024 aged 80.
