Guest jimmy kranky Posted July 25, 2005 Musician Myron Floren, who appeared on popular US TV programme The Lawrence Welk show, has died at the age of 85. Floren, who was accordionist and assistant conductor on the musical variety show, was on the programme for its entire run during 1955-82. He was known for conducting the orchestra with his elbows while playing the accordion. In more recent years, Floren made appearances at musical festivals around the US.
