    I think a couple of the names on this year's list are completely made up, this being one of them.

    Rowdy Roddy Piper was made up. Real name Roderick George Toombs. :rolleyes:

    OK i need to tell you about this re-accuring dream that i keep having.. basically all that happens is that Mark Felt dies.

     

    in fact the dream is, i wake up, to a newspaper headline something like FELT DEAD.

     

    im starting to wish i included him after all. Due to the rules of the Penzance Death pool, i can transfer him in on the first of the month, so i think hes going to have to come in for Feb.

     

    if he makes it.

    Does anyone know what happened to that nice black overcoat Saddam wore to his hanging? It looked really nice and if nobody lays claim to it, I wouldn't mind having it.

    Hmm how disapointing that she has made the list. A boring choice whose age almost certainly guarantees a success for the list. Over half of the top ten are over a hundred with two being over 105 (Brooke Astor). Anyone else think it reads like a bit of a cop out? (...)

     

    There were four centenarians on last year's list, and only one of them (25 %) snuffed it. The succes ratio on the entire list was 26 %, so picking the extremely old is actually decreasing the odds, though only slightly.

    Why in buggering hell isn't Lee Hazlewood on the list?

    i noticed he just released an album called Cake or Death... is that like a challenge? will he make his next birthday perhaps? i'm going for Cake! bets on guys!

    in fact Cake or Death could be played with other celebrities.

    Yes i suppose u can call them actors any way u looked at it it just a form of entertainment that some ppl

    enjoy watching.

    Is sport entertainment and alot of the fights are fixed and they used angels to attract ppl

    some storylines are gd some are complete c***.

    general list seems reasonable, although Piper i think was a strange choice. cant see him dying this year. as to his celebrity, i cant see the problem. i cant stand wrestling but Rowdy Roddy Piper is one of the most famous wrestlers of his generation.
