Absolutely brilliant. So it was all true after all. Yes! I'm now going to find his son and buy him a pint.

Surely a request to be on the DL is a good reason to never put said person on the DL. Otherwise all sorts of suicides will kick off...

Sexiness, or what was assumed to be sexy, in the 1970s was somewhat different to today. Look at the sex symbols of the time. Was George Best really all that attractive - these days, someone that hairy wouldn't cut the mustard. Also consider the Confessions of a... film series.

Gout's hardly a sign of impending death.

She was quite a looker back in the day (admittedly about 50-odd years ago). Despite the fags and agee not being on her side, she seems in fine fettle and I think most people wouldn't believe she was pushing 80. She'll be around for years yet. She wasn't a bad looker, I agree. Rumour has it she turned down £1M from FHM to pose in her underwear a few years back.

He's got a point, of sorts. Not that I read it in depth.

Of course, we are all missing the fact that he might be innocent.

To add to the Manx jokes: What does everyone sing at Isle of Man karaoke? Don't Let My Son Go Down On Me.

June Brown, aka Dot Cotton from EastEnders, will be 79 on Feb 16. She smokes like a chimney etc, so will she be around for much longer? I don't think she'll gradually go, like Dicky O. It'll be more of her thang, to go with a bang.

It might not be a Yeti - but here is a Bigfoot cake!!! -
Sorry, but the phrase "hard left" is an almost perfect oxymoron. There's something about beards and sandals that never struck me as hard. I'm only having a laugh, well, ish.

Yes, quite. It would seem that the only policy of Pinochet's that didn't quite come off was his attempt to liquidate ALL of his political opponents: it seems a few of them "slipped through the net". Or should that be "slipped through the electrodes"? We all now know, with the benefit of hindsight, what a resounding economic triumph "Maggie's years" were. If only I'd known how instrumental you'd been in Britain's last two decades of economic buoyancy Thank you, Augusto. Hope everything works out ok with your, erm... trial thingy. Very true that Maggie sorted this country out. Thank God she had the balls to tackle the miners - look at the state of France when the unions decide to call a strike. I just wish she was still here to give the London Underground drivers a kicking. £30,000 to close the doors, put your feet up and let the computer take over - and then striking for more pay. Actually, sod Maggie - put Pinochet onto them!

It needs no words.

Excusez-moi, mais les mots corrects sont "L'Homme au Sujet de la Maison"

Seriously, I REALLY want to change my name. If One Ball Adolf is not acceptable, then will Nuclear Nick be okay? Thanks

Data looked fitter as the Area 51 professor in Independence Day. And why, oh why, is Picard now acting in S**t ITV dramas? -
What, South Africa? I feel the same about Australia, I think it's the shape of it.

I thought Tony Hawks was an extreme skateboarder...

Am I the only one who finds this strangely humorous - ie he's going to die even if his is found innocent, which he won't be. He can pray as much as he wants, but he's going sooner rather than later. Allahu Akbar indeed.

This thread would need a "feature length" episode. And when the episode gets threatened with closure there will have to be several spin-off series to campaign for its return.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2006

I thought this was a Death List forum and not a kinky sex forum. I must have been mistaken. -
It sounds like you want to turn the current state of the DL forums into a tv show... All you need to do is change "sharing a flat together" to "sharing the Dicky O forum together".

The whole trial is ridiculous as it would not fit the requirements that would make it a "fair trial" in the Western world. I am not for one minute saying Saddam Hussein is innocent, but the trial really is a sham. Consider this...recently a libel trial involving News International was moved from Liverpool because it was decided NI wouldn't get a fair trial due to the memories of how the Sun covered the Hillsborough tragedy. But nobody moans when Saddam's first judge was a Kurd - bad enough - and then his second judge is a Kurd from Halabja - the town Saddam is accused of ordering the gassing of. The judge is more likely than not to know people who were gassed, or relatives, etc. But, then again, it is one of those cases when it is very hard to maintain impartiality. Perhaps we should do what we did to Napoleon - stick Saddam on an island and wait for him to die...
