Stealing the low hanging fruit for today.

Jimmy Carter on Sept 16.
-
Ah yes, I vividly remember the heated debates we had in April ‘45 about whose death had more significance that month.

Have not posted on this forum in some time. But for the Queen, Rest in Peace.

I was being entirely sarcastic, namely because there is surely no reason for them to be discussing Trump or the 2020 election in this thread.
-
Jimmy Carter was the reason we got eight years of Reagan following his poor presidency and inevitable defeat in the 1980 presidential elections. Reagan mobilised a group of people that Trump also resonated with, a group of people who wanted to see America become great again; much like both of their slogans. Arguably, Trump modeled himself and his successful 2016 campaign after Reagan (actor, populist platform, surrounded themselves with corporate CEOs, appeal to evangelicals/silent majority). Basically if Jimmy Carter had a stronger presidency, perhaps we would never have had a President Reagan nor a Reagan/Republican Revolution thus leading to not having a President Trump. This is the perfect place for them to be having this discussion. Right here on the Jimmy Carter deathlist thread. Next question.

It is fitting to have a piece of shit like this die right after Trebek. Worlds gotta balance itself out.

I honestly had no idea he had cancer.

The writers are throwing in a major plot twist for 2020, bold.

Was anyone suggesting to take him off the list?

Probably just as notable (if not more) as Bill Gates Sr.

I am not sure I am ready for the chaos that will ensue if she dies before January 2021, especially if Biden wins this November.

RIP.

Now that sounds worth tuning in for.

We got some attention on reddit because of this hit.

I sadly went with Trebek.
-
I don't think this necessarily will destroy his campaign, but rather put the question of age even more in the limelight than it already is. Perhaps this helps the younger candidates more than anything else? It will also certainly highlight the importance of a VP pick, assuming Biden/Warren/Sanders get the nomination.

Do this to the next cruel bastard on the list.

Qin Hanzhang is dead according to Wikipedia, have not seen any articles to confirm this however.

Whose left now to personally have known Hitler after Edda and Rudolfs death?
-
I would assume she may even be one of the last individuals to of even personally knew Hitler.

An absolute legend of television, very sad news to hear. Hoping for the best for Trebek, despite the bleak prognosis.
