Thought he would be dead by the start of the World Cup with only 25 days left till it starts looks like he is going to make it, would be sort of fitting if he went on World Cup Final day on 18th December.

Sounds similar to my 7 year old nephew last week on Friday the day after Queen died his Mother asked him “Did you do anything to remember the Queen?” My Nephew said “Yes we lit a candle and had to share our favourite memory of the Queen but I didn’t do it” his Mother asked “Why?” My Nephew said “ Because I didn’t have any Memories of her, I never saw her it was Silly.” Made me laugh.
Also the other day he went to his Grandparents house and his Grandma had news on and naturally it was about the Queen and he groaned “This is boring when is the Tv getting back to normal?” His Grandma said “It’s for the Queen and it’s History and don’t you think it’s Sad the Queen has died?” and my Nephew Said “Yes it’s sad but it’s gone on too Long Now”
My family tried too, must admit though I had to agree with him over the Tv coverage if I’d of said it I would of got a mouthful about disrespecting the Queen and being against the Monarchy but he gets away with it bless him.

3 hours ago, Youth in Asia said:Yes, it does seem a bit weird for people to file past a closed coffin without knowing if there's anything inside it or not. Here in Indonesia everyone has to be buried by sunset the next day, so that certainly avoids these excessively long goodbyes.
I must admit I find it odd that people across the country are prepared to stand in Queue that is up to a mile long for upwards of 12 hours to essentially nod at a coffin that they can’t even properly go up to for a woman who probably 99.9% of them don’t really know and have never met. I can understand the History part of it to a point I suppose but not to a Queue for that long but annoys me how they make out the Queen and the Royals have done so much for us and the country, really they haven’t done that badly out of it they live a life of luxury the majority of us can only dream of with various Castles scattered around the country in large parts paid for by the British people through our taxes. Also they have more money than we can ever dream off and for years didn’t even pay taxes whilst there “Subjects”/ people struggling to eat and survive all the while the Queen is paying of her son’s victim to the tune of £12 million pounds so he doesn’t go to prison a luxury we will never have. They also say the Queen and Royal family work so hard doing banquets etc for heads of states etc no their staff do they just turn up and greet them for a few hours, don’t the majority of us work hard all our lives for peanuts the Royals do the bare minimum for what they get yet we are supposed to be grateful for it, I’m sure the Queen was a nice lady but it all seems too much for me especially standing in a Queue for hours, just strange for me.

Just now, drol said:No, they are not so dumb.
If they put on this it means her vital parameters are very low.
I do agree with this I think the news channels probably know if she is going to die imminently or not but can’t say anything until its official.

1 minute ago, YouOnlyDieOnce said:Oh... she's still hanging on then.
She could hang on for days or weeks to be fair, wonder when news channels return to normal.

Just now, QuebecCityOliver said:One possibility is that she gets better. Just because you are close doesn't mean that you cannot recover for a few more months or even years.
True she could recover I suppose it depends what is wrong with her however even if she does recover at 96 years of age it is unlikely she will fully recover and she will be frailer and more likely to get Poorly again which means the end is probably only a matter of time probably unlikely to be years now but with best possible medical care it is possible.

Isn't it possible that Meghan's heard how the Queen is and has insisted on going up there?Possible I suppose but I doubt it.

With Harry and Meghan going she must be seriously ill as they wouldn’t go unless she was near the end considering how things are.

Yes I’m beginning to think the same actually a few years ago I thought she would go on and on surpassing her Mother’s 101 age but now think she will be gone in next two or three years as she is declining quicker than I expected. Although everyone was saying how well she looked in photo with Liz Truss I personally thought she didn’t look that great, still good for someone of her age but I thought she looked a lot more weary than at the Jubilee 3 months ago, I noticed the decline.

Lansbury again.

Another one for Angela Lansbury seems to have gone awfully quiet from her not recording a video or acceptance speech for her Tony Award was telling, also rumours she is declining fast also she is almost 97. Will be a sad day when she does go.

Paul Merson (an alcoholic prone to fallen off the wagon) called him out for this on one of ITV's fluff football shows and it caused a genuine scene which they kept in the finished programme. No way Ruddock sees 60 imo.
Yeah I watched the programme your talking about with Paul Merson he looks way worse now and he wasn’t great then, I agree no way he makes 60.

Former footballer Neil Ruddock just seen him in an advert about life insurance looked terrible, will be paying out on him soon by the looks of him.

Amazed how he keeps going, although unlikely it wouldn’t surprise me if he makes it to 100. I agree it is incredibly rare to have both your parents still alive at 75 years of age, Jack Carter really is lucky, my own Mum says she can’t believe she is 70 in September and her Mum is still around so to have both is incredible.

Ruining a well loved hit.
It was a proper cringe fest, although looking a bit haggard nothing imminent with Sir Cliff looks like he has a good few years in him, Des Lynam looked a lot worse to me.

That article is from 2003 (19 years ago!). Her 3rd husband Arnold died in 2001. She doesn't appear in any residency records which makes me wonder if she has died off radar in the last few years.
I will also add that 62 year olds who survive heart attacks seldom live to 96...Reminds me of my next door Neighbour he had his first heart attack at 35, had to retire early as a builder and had at least 10 heart attacks in his lifetime and eventually died aged 92 from a heart attack, not quite 96 but pretty close and pretty impressive he lived as long as he did.

I think he does, he was at the Newcastle game the other week too, he must still be in fairly decent health to be able to attend games I thought he would be further on with his dementia by now, as for Sir Bobby Charlton I doubt we will ever see him in public again we will just hear one day he has died. It is 2 years since it was announced he had dementia so I can’t see him been in any fit state to attend games at Old Trafford plus I think he is a more private person than Denis Law and wouldn’t like to be seen in such a condition.
