Plenty of canals in Birmingham. I know it’s not the same, but remove the shopping trolleys and it’s possible.

The picture in the Northampton chronicle was taken in1965 if the report is to believed. He looked bloody awful for a 23 year old!

Ordered a carpet off those fuckers a fortnight ago and am waiting to hear when it will be fitted.luckily I haven’t parted with a penny, but I bust my ass getting all the paintwork freshened up. I’ll be phoning them tomorrow. The salesman admitted that January was extremely quiet. He put this down to the weather. I bet they say that every winter.

Tactless Question for Poms: Is this Town England's A*hole Capital?
Exu replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Yes, it’s a bloody nightmare. Last time I was on it they were knocking bits of itdown(either that or it was just falling down). probably the worst town in the country is Hednesford ( an old mining community next to Cannock). A shame as my parents were born there ( but had the sense to move away as soon as they got married) and I support the local footie team. The area is run down, rough and a bit squalid. It’s likegoing back fifty years . -
Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?

Went to see Morrissey in Birmingham on Tuesday night. He behaved himself, didn’t slag anyone off (except Spanish bullfighters) and all in all it was a very good night. shame that his set only lasted 90 minutes. -

I bet he has a great range of chat-up lines. Smooth, silver_tongued cavalier that he is.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-43174862 Not dead yet, but I'd hate to be the poor sod who has to do the post mortem if this bloke snuffs it.

I always felt that his mental illness issues would be a real problem for him ashe got older and now he has this to deal with too which is a great shame. I’m a big admirer of his work and hopefully he will deal with this challenge too.

McCain, but only because I had some of his chips tonight. I see it as an omen.

The world is a better place for his passing. Judgemental bollocks creates division which in turn leads to division, hatred and violence.

Cricket Thread. Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen
Exu replied to The Four Horsemen's topic in DeathList Forum
Belatedly just noticed this. I played against this chap many times when he was in his 50s and he was a really nice bloke who retained a great passion for cricket even though his body was a bit knackered by this time. He achieved many fine feats during his earlier years ( I was there watching when he dismissed Boycott) , but still retained a sense of great modesty. -

very sad for one so young.

I'm taking it on the chin so no worries. I'm not sure if rupertmurdoch will last too long. Shagging jerry Hall at his age, although he won't be complaining, can't be too good for the ticker.

You mean they have to be alive when picked?! Bugger. Thanks to Joey for pointing out my lazy error. I've amended my selection.

Good to see that Joey is paying attention! I'll obviously remove Leonard and replace him with Rupert Murdoch
