Bollocks! What a nightmare!

Home - BBC News BBC take on it. Had both him and Pele in my DDP 2023. Bugger!
-
I'm regretting having Pele on my list for 2023 obviously and have my fingers crossed for Benedict XVI !!!
-
My entry is in. Big thanks to Grim Up North for his efforts over the years and to those taking up the mantle.
-
Had him down for this year as I suspect many other in the DDP did. A sad loss and a bloody terrible way to go
-
He's been clinging on for a few years now so this was inevitable

RIP. A very talented cricketer who had the misfortune to be playing at a time when Australia had probably the best side in both red and white ball formats of all time. Would probably have played for Australia more than he did during another era. -

THe greatest spin bowler ever. Was great for the game as he was clearly passionate about it and was always good to listen to. What a shock. RIP -
Sometimes in life things are exactly how they seem. There are no big conspiracies going on, I'm not a slave, I've got free will to do what I please as long as laws aren't broken and others don't suffer. I'm grateful for my vaccines, and acknowledge that those that make decisions in democracies are imperfect, make mistakes and are sometimes incompetent, but we choose them to lead us. People who spout shit like this are allowed to do so because of the freedoms they enjoy, like the rest of us, and for that you should be grateful no matter how much mischief and harm results from it.

My daughter reminds me that the average life expectancy of the Windsors is something like 125 (!) so if she does peg it in the near future the Daily Mail will probably run a headline along the lines of "Gone too Soon"!!!

If he sees the year out he will be in my first XI for 2023 -
...and apparently ran the 100m fast enough on that programme to have qualified for the 1984 olympics!

Hopefully I'm not offending anyone or breaking a long established convention, but I saw this and thought to myself that there is no limit to extent to which people will use the law to seek retribution (normally hefty financial settlements) for alleged infringements of their own human rights / privacy etc Nirvana sued by the baby from Nevermind's album cover - BBC News Presumably this guy feels slighted by his parents / Nirvana and society in general, but if he does win his case then it opens up a can of worms. Personally I think it is pretty cool , but this chap is evidently short of cash.
