The remaining cast members are uncredited, the majority being munchkins. The two exceptions are Ambrose Schindler (IMDb) who played a Winkie Guard and was a stunt double, and Caren Marsh Doll (IMDb) who was Garland's dance stand-in. Depending on how much effort Warner Bros. decides to put into the 80th Anniversary Celebrations in 2019, we might get a better gauge of who is actually alive. They did host celebrations for the 70th and 75th so if there are any living cast members, even if they were uncredited, they might track them down for interviews. -

I'm sure she'll already be on people's radar, but Maureen Lipman collapsed this evening on stage in the West End and could not continue with the performance. She wasn't hospitalised, but no cause has been given.

Tsehaytu Beraki, Eritrean pop singer and activist (mention in The Guardian), has reportedly died aged 80. Kassé Mady Diabaté, Malian singer (profile on the BBC, review in The Guardian), has died aged 69. Intrigued to see if The Guardian follows up their edgy, overly obscure, cultural pieces with the honour of obituaries. -
