I found this curious too, because at first I thought he was just referring to Gerald Kaufman. But then when I checked, Gerald Kaufman didn't actually vote - which in itself I think means he's really near the end as MPs have been taken out of hospital and on life support machines to vote when it's so important. In which case it seems there are some new deathly figures haunting the Labour benches and I don't just mean the ghost of Lenin whispering in Corbyn's ear. Did Grahame Morris or Ronnie Campbell vote? Nick Boles didn't vote as at the hospital. Good shout!

Hey Thatcher.... so how did you find this one? I did a random Google search and get nothing. Of course I'm searching 'in English', and I presume Google isn't searching other languages. So....are you doing non-English searches? Just wondering. For the record still no English language obit anywhere. Good catch. SC Twitter is a great friend

Rumours on Twitter that Syrian Army in Damascus is on high alert, some claim Russian Military Police have increased presence. Meanwhile Turkish on Twitter claiming that his brother, Maher Assad, has staged a coup. All unconfirmed, all exactly the sort of stuff that spreads quickly in a situation like this - would take it all with a heavy pinch of salt.

Oddly enough 1850 was the year California joined the union. Might give Trump an idea. Actually strange you suggest that because there is a rumour flying that Trump is encouraging the GOP to fund the Calexit campaign in order to almost certainly assure a Republican Victory every presidential election. And although it's a rumour, California has just recently opened up an embassy in Moscow - no smoke without fire, right? -
