Rishi Sunak. I said to my parents back when the lockdown first began and he was doing press stuff that he looks like the next person who could be PM. He presents himself well.

African Leaders - Despots and Democratic
ladyfiona replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList Forum
Not seen Paul Kagame get mentioned anywhere as far as I can see. He has been leader of Rwanda for 20 years and has said he would like to rule for another 20. He has already changed the constitution allowing him to remain in power until 2034. Apparently in the last presidential election five years ago, official figures showed he won 99% percent of the vote. -

I feel like something is going on with Robert Downey Jr. It looks like he's lost a lot of weight recently (maybe for a film or age catching up with him). Picture from an Instagram post with his cat:

Na she wants to give her daughter a nervous breakdown first due to suffering from years of abuse. Won't allow her to be famous because she could end up more popular than her etc.

Feel free to inspect this picture for aging tennis players:

Someone to watch out for that only Wimbledon fans will know is a man called David Spearing. He's been a steward at Wimbledon for over 40 years and he's in his 80's now. He was always seen by the players box. (Scottish Sun, Wikipedia) My parents were watching the matches on centre court yesterday and they couldn't see him. He apparently didn't attend last year either.

Next spotting will most likely be Wimbledon finals on 9th and 10th July I think as he usually presents the trophy. Though Kate may now have taken over?

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread
ladyfiona replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I accidentally got involved in a political discussion at work while having lunch with a Filipino nurse and found she supports Trump (also conspiracy theories around the election but we swiftly moved on). She also supports the newly elected president of Philippines. Anyone know his (Bongbong Marcos) politics as Wikipedia is not helping at all. Though just seen he's the son of Imelda Marcos. -
I was watching Twitter tag about his set live and the first hour people were complaining because they didn't know a lot of the new songs. Then it started getting more positive as time went on. Having seen him live at the O2 in 2018 (I think). He was great then and great last night. Especially with the added John Lennon back up vocals thanks to Peter Jackson.
