American Gladiators was a TV show that ran from 1989 to 1996 and then also UK version which ran from 1992 to 2000. There was a 2008 attempt to revive it as well. There are many other international versions of the show as well. Shows I found: American Gladiators, Gladiators (UK), Gladiators (Australia), International Gladiators 1 and 2 , International Gladiators - The Ashes.. just look at other shows around the world. With some Gladiators having medical issues or dying I thought i'd make a list of everyone that i'm aware was on the show in some capacity. I've most likely missed people so apologies. Does anyone collect Beanie Babies? Mum just found my vintage collection in the attic and i'm currently making a word document for how much they each sell on Ebay, lol. -
The real question is what is the difference between a living room and lounge.

Anyone go to the 2012 Olympics in the stadium? My uncle who has a history of working with the cycling team in things like Tour De France, he managed to get a volunteer role in the velodrome. My dad got us tickets to see the athletics and we saw some stuff for Paralympics too. Watching blind/sighted running relay is very surreal because the crowd has to be silent as the blind athletes run with a guide who give them instructions. Right at the end there is an enormous roar. -
Oh I know. I just have dry humour as well. Autism doesn't help. It's why I put a lol at the end to show it's in good humour...lol. Our trust doesn't believe in people being made redundant, they just reshuffle everyone about and try to send you to a hospital you can't get to because of no car, lol. Thankfully i'm a member of Unison and now i'm still 5 minutes from home but in outpatients main desk.

I wish. I'm an NHS worker waiting for a pay rise, who wants to murder the NHS managers because they are all useless. The CEO of our trust just fucked off to work and live in Dubai.

Ah yes, lets include the homelessness, the traffic and skid row, lol. No but seriously. Only things I can think of for LA would be: - Hollywood walk of fame - Hollywood hills with the interesting houses - Re-creating the Terminator 2 scene at the dry LA river with the torch - Jimmy Kimmel - Tar pits -
As someone raised in an area which is affluent where old and new money lives, but who have parents/relatives who used to live in Croydon and working class. This is what i've been taught. My grandmother was Irish and grandfather was Scottish, but as far as i'm aware they never taught me different. Breakfast - First meal of the day to set you up. Could be anything from toast, full English or cereal etc Elevenses - Morning snack or tea (drink) if feeling peckish. Lunch - Small meal from 12-2pm roughly where usually have a sandwich or something light Tea - Light snack or a break for...well tea and biscuits. Similar to elevenses. Dinner - Last meal of the day anytime from 5pm to 8pm (later if going out to eat).

Charles Coste - Olympic torchbearer at the French Olympic games. He is 100 years old and in a wheelchair. Wasn't even allowed to move or be wheeled by someone else. He won a gold medal in the team pursuit at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

I changed my 1924 to Charles Coste because just seen him on TV. Replaced Brigitte Auber with Ann Fagan Ginger.

Cross posting this from another thread about Ysanne Churchman and her passing.

The ones who I think are top contention: Gavin Newsom - He's survived a vote recently in California and it's safe Democratic seat. My dad has even said that if he was a betting man, he would put a bet on this guy. Josh Shapiro - Pennsylvania is swing state and they need the votes from that state. While it would be good to see all female team. I don't think Gretchen Whitmer would be it.
