Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2006
Six replied to honez's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Wow, CP, Sideshow Bob! He's my favourite character... along with that brainy scientist who never has any luck. -
I voted, again, for ole' 'mutton-dressed-as-lamb-with-bad-taste' Liz Taylor.

I thought Tom Bosley had died a few years ago, but apparently not. Or did he... I am so confused. Ok, I just looked him up, and he is still alive. Let me explain what's going on: My mother suggested him for a good 2007 DL pick, but I was adamant that he was dead. She assured me he was still alive. As I was surprised to find he was still alive, I decided to post it in this thread, but then decided to check anyway. He's looking frail though. Could my mum be right ? ( Scroll down, past Ron & Henry )

Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?
Six replied to Brinsworth House Baiter's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
The most recent gig I went to was an 'Abba-tribute-band' gig; not by choice. It was my sister's birthday and so she chose where to go. They were shite and the blond woman (?) had the biggest thighs I've ever seen on a relatively slim woman! Incidentally, I did see Bon Jovi live way back in 1988 and 1989...I was mad for them then and wouldn't hear a bad word said about them. I've never viewed Mr Jon BJ the same since he was in Ally McBeal ( Mc / Mac?? ) when he played a sappy 90's man... not the rough dude I was in love with! The very best concert I've ever been to was Love/Hate in Birmingham a few years ago. Jizzy rocks- or did then anyhow... that was when I was young though... ahhh, those were the days.... -
I just love this thread! Well done Lady G and Notapotato, two excellent jokes there! I wish I knew some good jokes. errrmmmmm

Not on topic, but say happy birthday to your daughter from me! Hope you all had much cake!

He was really good in Mork & Mindy, always made me laugh.

Dragging this thread back into existence... ..who said this then... ...?

It was a good book, just in case anyone was interested...it seems to be the first of a trilogy, so I'll have to keep a look-out for the others. It's about four tribes of little people, called The Various Tribes, living in a secluded forest, which is part of land owned by a farmer who is visited by his niece who stumbles upon a small horse from the tribe, who is injured and saved by the girl who then embarks upon a magical journey!!!!!! Ok? It's not Joyce's Ulysses but it's an interesting read.

' Slippery When Wet ' springs to mind.

Ohhh, that's a low blow BHB! I'd much rather be mistaken for Linda McCartney, and she's dead! ( ...and had the full quotient of legs!!!) Maybe I should start an anti-BHB thread.... ermmmm...... errrrmmmmm...... Sorry, BHB, I can't think of anything anti- about you! (Not sure if Linda still has the full quotient of legs though...)

Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries Etc...2006

Happy, belated, Birthday, Doggie101171!! Hope you had fun. -
The Old Library is an attractive place but has been spoiled, as you say Bald Rick. I much prefer to get merry over at my mums place! She lives in a sheltered housing estate in a nice little bungalow, surrounded by hard-of-hearing OAP's ( not literally surrounding her, but in similar bungalows around her bungalow). Anyhow, the drinks are free and I can play my ukulele ( badly mostly ) and sing along with my hollering sisters and out-of-tune mother until ungodly hours and no-one complains about the terrible noise we're making because the neighbours are all deaf! You should pop in next time you're in the area guys! Bring ear plugs.

Glad to see you back again Bruno.. although I find it strange being able to read your posts without struggling to understand what they say! Heed the docs advice and don't touch the dreaded alcohol for a while... if nothing else it will mean that fellow DL'ers will suffer less headaches trying to decipher your posts! I'm glad you're back and well, BB.

Wow, spaced-out! That's really good viewing actually. Cheers CP! -
Come off it, Six, I've seen the photos... Damn. You can't trust anyone these days. The blackmailer said he'd destroy them after I'd paid... hang on... are YOU my blackmailer?!?

Disgraceful, the lot of you! To have been so drunk that you fell asleep in a public place! To be so drunk that you can't remember what you did? To be so drunk that you slept with people/peoples whom you didn't know and much regretted it afterwards? I'm glad I've never done any such things when I've been under the influence.

So, do we now just assume Millwall's been locked away somewhere within the big old house and will never be heard of again?
-
Still no Bruno news? We seem to be losing DL'ers quite regularly. I wonder if there's a DL serial killer or something- crossing us all off one by one.... or maybe my much-talked-of overactive imagination is at work again.

Not quite as exciting as Maryport, this is where I live. We've two shops: a post-office and a butcher shop. A bus runs through here sometimes too...
