Echoing my November 8 update, two of my three substitutes, Arnold Yarrow and Jody Gormley, have left the bench. Joining Woody Woodbury on the wood bench are Ian Smith and Jean-Marie Le Pen. I do not know who died earlier, nor whose obit made public attention earlier, so until informed otherwise my order is as above.

my turtles tricked me this year by having rocket engines under their shells but I will try again, thanks for reprising.

Extra Extra! Extra so does a 101-year-old Japanese royal. One extra for me: 14 for year-to-date.

I wondered why I, a Canadian widow, received no marriage proposals or even greetings. Maybe people are busy at the shooting range.

I had just finished my binge of series 1 of "Upstart Crow" (2016) on my library streaming service Kanopy when I learned about "Ludwig" (2024), so I binge that online. -

I am off the starting line with the ending of my MACCHIATOS, June Spencer -
Today I see two strikes on my list. Esther Rantzen, currently my top substitute, may replace Trevor Sorbie, and Steve Gleason may step in for the stepped out June Spencer. Two new substitutes to follow the standing Jody Gormley are Arnold Yarrow and Woody Woodbury

This Jody Gormley typ seems to be popular. I have no imagination today so I request Gormley for my third substitute.

I remember a certain Roxy Music hit single receiving heavy airplay at a Vancouver radio station at the time Lemay was playing for the Canucks, and I half-imagined Bryan Ferry was singing about him: "Tell me one thing, Moe Lemay..."

Andrew Schally is one pick on my alt.obituaries list, and I have yet to see an email from the admin confirming my hit. Apparently a sleeper pick. -
Alvin Rakoff is a hit for me.

Five months without a hit made me inattentive, Ethel Kennedy's 10 Oct death returned my attention and should increase my score.

If the list could be updated also for Martin Mull ("Gene Parmesan"), who also died in 2024, that would be grate.

Benny Golson must be dead. Right now I'm hearing "Whisper Not" from Benny Golson's New York Scene from a radio show.

Only by substance abuse misadventure. His mental fragility seems lifelong. Conjecture seems based on assumption he has a conscience. What I've read doesn't hint at that. Decrying his family as "a racist institution" isn't taking a superior position, it's an attempt to use media, the papers he sued against, to give him power and feed his entitlement. An overdose, as his body builds tolerance and his scarcity of functioning brain cells fritters, from the pain of being married to a malignant narcissist who does not love him and presses him to alienate his family seems most probable. If he were a conscientious person, aware of his predicament and capable of selfless acts of charity and mercy, he'd make arrangements for his children to escape future torment.

Sven-Göran Eriksson waited in the wings, and then flew away on wings before he could reach the main stage. My three substitutes are now ranked: 1. Linda Turado 2. Priscilla Pointer 3. Gloria Whelan

Peter Marshall is among the stars (spirits in the sky or dirt, your choice) Here's a New York Times obituary for him. Aside from the bed block trio, I understand the most youthful survivor on my list today embarks on a trip to a South America country where its current Vice President Francia Márquez escaped an assassination attempt. I am mournful about my sixth hit but a seventh hit should I be so lucky could pull me out of my funk. https://i.makeagif.com/media/12-09-2015/I-3cCl.mp4

Two from my OUT pile bit the dust last month, glad an entry on the remaining list breaks that vexing trend Gena Rowlands with QO from the Daily Heil (I am sure the better-reputation UK sources will come in hours from now, I am impatient), like time, passes on: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13744829/Gena-Rowlands-dead-94-Notebook-Alzheimers.html
