Philip is now the last of the top 5 remaining. RIP, Olivia. You lived a very long and successful life.

Hate to break it to you, but that picture is actually of Vice President Elbridge Gerry. This is a picture of William Livingston:

80 today... it's very likely his last.
-
(the only reason he posted this is because the road the crash occurred on was named after Carter, and nothing else)

Pope Leo XIII died on this day 117 years ago. Dying at the age of 93 years, 140 days, Leo is currently the longest-lived pope. If still alive on September 4, Benedict XVI will beat his record.
-
Two of the people in this picture died on the same day. RIP to the thirteenth hit on my personal list.

Bolivia's interim president Jeanine Anez is COVID-positive.

It is now June 28th in the UK. Clarissa Eden, the widow of Prime Minister Anthony Eden, as well as niece of Winston Churchill, has turned 100. Eden is the second spouse of a British Prime Minister to do so, after Mary Wilson (Wilson turned 100 in January 2016).

Thomas Edwin Blanton Jr., last surviving perpetrator of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in 1963, has died in prison at the age of 82. GOOD RIDDANCE. Blanton and 3 other KKK members placed dynamite under the steps of the church, killing 4 girls attending a Sunday school service.

Rapper XXXTentacion was shot dead 2 years ago today, at the mere age of 20.
-
Picking Tom Smith again. EDIT: I accidentally forgot to add Bob Dole in the original list. When I put him in the spot he's supposed to be, it misaligned the votes, and that's why he's at the bottom of the list.
-
Beverly Cleary perhaps?
-
Tom Smith. Impressive that he (along with Prince Philip and Alex Trebek) has outlived 10 people on this year's list.
-

Jack Haley, the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, went over the rainbow on this day 41 years ago (aged 81). Ironically, it was a heart attack that did him in.
-
Cartoonist Hank Ketcham died on this day 19 years ago, aged 81. Ketcham was the creator of Dennis the Menace. No, that's the British one... That's the one. Coincidentally, both comic strips debuted on the same day (March 12, 1951)!

RIP. Didn't expect him to go so soon. Following Weighton's death: - Joan Hocquard (born March 29, 1908) is the UK's oldest person, aged 112. - Harry Fransman (born November 25, 1911) is the UK's oldest man, aged 108. - Possible candidates for world's oldest man include Dumitru Comanescu (Romania, born November 8, 1908) and Saturnino de la Fuente Garcia (Spain, born February 8, 1909), both aged 111.
