Lucille randon is, since wednesday, the 9th oldest person ever. She took Misao Okawa (1898-2015) spot and is 52 days away to take the 8th place, still detained by Chiyo Miyako (1901-2018) : will she be able to do so ? Time will tell

And an update on Kabosu "Doge": Still doing well, can walk outside. Seems to have recovered well from the diseases she had last year.
It triggers me so much I hope she’ll find a way to get better someday...

Maybe it’s him walking into that ambulance ? If he’s walking that could be a good sign for them/a bad sign for our 5th hit

Cauchetier had at least 5 qualifying french obits when he died : for my french list I use french obits rather than english ones

Totally agree.
If Philip has what I suspect he's suffering from, a urinary tract infection, then it's what my gran died from several years ago. She was improving then came a sudden decline (she was 90). When people are in their 80s/90s the kidneys shrivel up and become like little prunes. They don't work too well and operating on a 99 year old for the sake of replacing one would likely be deemed too risky. If I was to wage my bets, it sounds like he'll survive this infection, but the renal problems won't go away and subsequent related problems will arise in the not too distant future. Not too sure he’ll survive it. And if he does in What shape ? Remember the photos of him walking out of hospital in late 2019 ? He was so frail and is now 2 years older so how will he come out of the hospital (if he ever does)

Ok I'm officially bored, Can't he just gives up ? Damn those ups and downs are killing me, at the end I AM going to die instead of him

15 minutes ago, DCI Frank Burnside said:Not too surprising that the British Media might be more restrained in reporting things like this. The fact that it seems to be Tues at the earliest before he's out will make it a week since he was admitted. That's a long time merely for observation. May not be quite at the end but wouldn't be surprising if he's gone this year
This year ? This month seems more appropriate imo

Maybe he’s coming home ? Or maybe the queen has come to visit him ? Or maybe he has been given the last rites

7 minutes ago, Windsor said:If he was dying he wouldn't have been taken to hospital. They would rather he pegged it at Windsor - it looks better to history.
What could also have happened is that he rushed to the hospital bc he wasn’t feeling well, but his condition worsened so they kept him there and won’t bring him back

He survived the 99th page
