To be completely honest I wasn’t familiar with crowdsourced at all, So I thought it was a new idea but turns out it’s no that new even if I see some differences... feel free to close this thread, my bad !

You have one week more, it’s a huge difference

Had this idea which popped in my head just rn.
Considering the fact that some of us are disappointed about the curent official list and after having even seen some of you propose to make the deathlist « democratic » (as a vote) for next years, I propose to you a new « game ».
You can put here a list of the 50 celebrities you think should have been on the official list, ranked as you wished they were really placed in the list. In one week, I’ll close every entries and summarize the names and positions to propose the « ideal deathlist » as we wished it would have been. At the end of the year, we’ll see if our « democratic list » will be more or less successful than the official one.
Get ready... go !

Joe Biden - President Elect; going to be 46th potus, and has dementia, doesn't even know what he's saying anymore
Queen Elizabeth the 2nd - Queen of England; entry for 2021, most likely an entry for 2022
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburg - Same deal as Queen Elizabeth the 2nd, minus being the Queen of England
Betty White - From Golden girls, she'll be 100 by 2022, she's also looking brittle for her age
Daniel Hernandez (6ix 9ine) - a rapper from New York, by the way he's living, he won't make it to his 40's at best! He is also a convicted felon which makes him more of a target for death, if he gets in that situation.

Yes you’re right ! Let’s already make a list about people who will die in 2043, it’s totally accurate

I first heard of her on here about a month ago. It may well have been a post by you I took the tip or inspiration from?!
It’s OBVIOUSLY me, I’m the only one considering and talking about her on here

just comes to my mind, the best headline would've been "vingt sur vingt (20/20) pour Cardin"

I vote for this topic as the best thread ever made on this forum

He is not. But he somehow makes it to the list anyway so now that he was on, why not play it safe and keep him on.

I wouldn’t be surprised if january is a deadly month just like 2016, the end of december was quite rough (Ronald Atkins, Robert Hossein, Cardin...) so I’d love if it continues like that plus january is always a rough month in term of deaths
-
Fuck I would like to say 14 but that was taken So I’m taking the wonderful 37 if not taken

Several things come to my mind :
1) at first I was disappointed but looking at the list with less alcohol in my blood and with a bit of rest, I think this is not "that bad". I mean there are greats picks, some that could dropped dead tomorrow and some who could stick around for years. But I think it's a fair list. Not the best, obviously but I think we could be surprised by some picks (as we were when Gates Sr. or John Edrich proved to be successful picks). Only time will tell but I have great hopes.
2) the thing that disappointed me at first, was the lack of originality and the fact that big names are missing. Gorbachev, Larry King, Dilip Kumar, Carlos Menem (where the fuck is he ???? he will be dead by the end of January imo), Jerry Lee Lewis, Noam Chomsky etc etc… for me it'll prove them wrong given that on those names, several could go by the end of the year.
3) Their choice in keeping some names over others is questionnable. I mean where is Tom Smith and why in the hell they keep Dick Cheney or Shane McGowan over him ??
4) I'm not that disappointed that they didn't add names like James Whale, Tom Parker or Sarah Harding, as, for me, they are nobodies. they wouldn't even get a proper obit in France
5) I'm dismayed at their choice of ranking in the list : why in the hell did they put Dick Van Dyke in the 3rd spot and Akihito so high over Rush Limbaugh, Dole, Philips, Doherty etc… It's a shiiiiitty choice I'm dismayed
here is my first thoughts on the list, I have mixed feelings but I hope it'll be successful, good luck to everyone here and of course, HAPPY NEW YEAR !

I searched for the « opinion about the 2021 list » but didn’t find it. Anyway, I’m disappointed.

6 hours ago, Joey Russ said:Is it possible they didn’t make a list this year? Usually they meet at a pub and given what’s currently going on they won’t be able to meet at the pub...
If it were @CoffinLodger we would say « shut up » but since it’s you, I’d simply say « no. »
