My 2025 team: Name: Fade to Black. 1. Isabel Veloso (Joker) 2. Eddie Annand 3. Black Bart 4. Allan Finnegan 5. Eleonora Giorgio 6. Trisha Goddard 7. Archie Goodburn 8. Sophie Kinsella 9. Georg Koch 10. Nigel McCrery 11. Steve McMichael 12. Ludek Miklosko 13. Nicholas Monson 14. Patrick Murray 15. Joanna Paul-Robie 16. Esther Rantzen 17. Mary Schmucker 18. Ian Smith 19. Joe Thompson 20. Peter Yarrow Sub 1: Ryne Sandberg Sub 2: Nigel Latta Sub 3: Chris Hoy (Thought I'd include an addendum because I see Isabel Veloso is, apparently, a controversial name. There was no explicit ban suggested for her in the DDP 2024 or 2025 threads or I wouldn't have picked her. I can see she's been allowed in some pools, not in others. Three million Instagram followers and posting for years. Is an influencer which, granted, doesn't mean as much to me as younger generations, but it's still legitimately a thing these days. Also means she's not just famous for someone who is going to die, which is banned. By that standard, she'd be acceptable. Not another Natalie Fornasier case, for which I rightfully got burned.)

Submitted my team late last night. Decided to do less self-censoring this time around. Still a bit surprised with ten rejections, then one more with the replacement picks. Will reveal the rejections come the new year.
