Every now and then I get to shake the pool up a little. I had Marnie Schulenburg. She is a solo and, thus, a 25 point hit. (20+5)
-
Marnie Schulenburg is a 'List of the Missed' pick, having been selected in 2021, but not this year.

One of my March Deathlist Cup picks, Marnie Schulenburg, has died. (Her death was also noted in 'The Dead of 2022' thread.) I'd picked her because she had stage 4 breast cancer and hadn't posted on Instagram since January 1st. Subsequently, she posted once, just after Mother's Day (North American Mother's Day, May 8th). It was implied she'd been hospitalized prior to being able to visit her mother & her daughter. She explicitly stated she needed a portable oxygen machine to make the trip.

I don't remember this one getting any press. Donald Ross, a Hollywood writer for shows like Diff'rent Strokes, Hart to Hart, the Love Boat & Murder She Wrote and the husband of Match Game semi-regular panelist Patti Deutsch for 49 years, died of cancer in June 2018. Ross, who made a handful of appearances on Match Game, was occasionally referred to by his wisecracking wife as 'Fast Donald' when she was providing answers. Deutsch died in July 2017 of complications from cancer. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/latimes/name/donald-ross-obituary?id=8370534
