Bodybuilders don't have the best reputations when it comes to physical feature enhancement. While not all have resorted to artificial help, many have done so. The results may have produced large physiques, but they've also resulted in side effects, serious medical issues and even death. And since the latter is what this site is all about, perhaps it's time bodybuilders got their own thread.

Stephen Peat, who played 130 games with the Washington Capitals between the 2001-02 and 2005-06 seasons, has died. He was 44. This one went under the radar but Al Blake, who essentially had a one-year career in 1987 wrestling just over 100 matches as Vladimir Petrov, notably in a Russian stable led by Ivan Koloff, died in late July. He was 66. Blake's career was derailed by multiple drug convictions in 1988.
