Everett Quinton, an Obie-winning stage actor and queer theatre icon, has died. He was 70. Quinton acted in many of the plays of his partner Charles Ludlam, who passed in 1987. Tucker was a piano tuner by trade. He was blind, but pitch perfect. The Marshall Tucker Band had seven U.S. Hot 100 hits and three more that bubbled under. Whenever I see changes like this, I presume it's to benefit phone viewing of internet sites at the expense of desktop viewing. Inferior to how it was, but not as bad as left-justified Google search engine queries, where more than half the desktop page is white.
