André Chagnon, founder of Quebec telecommunications giant Vidéotron, has died. He was 94. Vidéotron began in 1964. It was acquired by Quebecor Media Ltd. in 2000. Dave Dryden, a goaltender who split his career between the NHL and WHA, has died. He was 81. Dryden played a single game for the New York Rangers in 1961-62, then played parts of three seasons with the Chicago Black Hawks in the 2nd half of the 60s, before spending four seasons with the Buffalo Sabres in the early 1970s. He would spend five years in the WHA, mostly with the Edmonton Oilers and remained with Edmonton for their first NHL season in 1979-80.
