I don't remember this one getting any press. Donald Ross, a Hollywood writer for shows like Diff'rent Strokes, Hart to Hart, the Love Boat & Murder She Wrote and the husband of Match Game semi-regular panelist Patti Deutsch for 49 years, died of cancer in June 2018. Ross, who made a handful of appearances on Match Game, was occasionally referred to by his wisecracking wife as 'Fast Donald' when she was providing answers. Deutsch died in July 2017 of complications from cancer. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/latimes/name/donald-ross-obituary?id=8370534

Had a U.S. Hot 100 Hit in 1995 with 'Woman to Woman' (#72). Briefly received a modicum of mainstream appeal. Singer Jewel ('Who Will Save Your Soul', 'You Were Meant For Me', etc.) has told a story of the hardships she experienced starting out as a singer, including once being booked in a venue where the audience thought Jewell would be performing. -
As noted elsewhere, actor Mike Hagerty has died. Credited as Michael G. Hagerty, he appeared as Captain Larg in the 1991 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'Redemption II' (the season five debut episode). He was Skoran, one of the townsfolk in the pre-warp civilization a disoriented Data wanders into in the 1994 TNG episode 'Thine Own Self'.

April Nocifora, a producer/supervising producer on Star Trek: Discovery and a supervising producer on season one of Star Trek: Picard, died in December 2021. Her death was acknowledged at the end of the series debut of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on May 5th. Her death was apparently also acknowledged following the most recent season finale of Star Trek: Discovery, though she was only referred to there by her given name. Her death seems to not have been made public before then, as she was not included in the 'Star Trek in memoriam' put out by the Daily Star Trek News publication and included in a link to an earlier entry in this thread. https://technotrenz.com/entertainment/strange-new-worlds-explains-the-april-nocifora-dedication-1875780.html
