This was posted in the "Hospitalized" thread, but I think it should also be posted here for 2019 consideration. 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' actress, Denise Nickerson (Violet Beauregarde), has had a bad stroke and is in the ICU and in such a grave condition that apparently her daughter-in-law is quitting her job to help take care of her. https://radaronline.com/exclusives/2018/07/willy-wonka-star-denise-nickersons-famiy-member-will-quit-job-to-care-for-her/

I'll go against the grain and say Neil Simon.

I loved her in the Disney film, The North Avenue Irregulars. Also knew her from The Mary Tyler Moore Show as Phyllis.

I am in the same boat. I don't wish death upon her, but when she dies, that will be a HUGE historical day unlike any we've seen in our lifetime, so it does get the heart pumping a bit.

I'm gonna disagree with you on Amitabh Bachchan as he is considered the most famous Bollywood actor ever and known pretty much everywhere in the Eastern world. I am nigh 100% sure that when he dies, his death will make front page BBC News as other Bollywood actors who were much lesser in fame (such as Shashi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna) did. Hence, I think he definitely counts as a celebrity. He hasn't made his mark on the West, I guess, but he made his Hollywood debut in the 2013 Baz Luhrmann film, The Great Gatsby, as Meyer Wolfsheim.

Although mentioned before, I think it should be reiterated that we should highly consider putting Queen Elizabeth II back on next year's DL.

I think Joyce Randolph (Trixie from 'The Honeymooners') is a good one to look out for next year as well.

Same!

He actually didn't write that song. The Sherman Brothers were called in to write new songs for The Jungle Book after Walt Disney wasn't satisfied with how his original planned version of The Jungle Book was going. In that version, the songs were written by Terry Gilkyson. And when the Sherman Brothers joined the project, they got rid of all the Gilkyson songs from the film except for The Bare Necessities which everybody loved.

Happy birthday!

Maybe Stephen Sondheim? He is 88 already.

I think Angela Lansbury should be considered as well as Jane Powell and Mitzi Gaynor.

I'm sorry; I didn't realize. I just thought all 2018 deaths were to be posted in this particular forum category.
