I agree he has lost a lot of weight, but as a well-padded first-world woman I think we're all so used to seeing fat or chunky folks that we've lost our eye for a healthy normal. Edward could have gone vegan for all we know. I think he's slender but doesn't look ill.

I'm enjoying reading the archived obits. The Ruby Muhammad one is a classic. Now I need to find out what the hell a bean pie is. I'm very rarely around this site, and I'm absolute shit at the game, but I sure do enjoy it. My co-workers think I'm unbelievably morbid participating in and tracking the Deadpool, but honestly, Death comes for us all in the end. Why not have some fun with it along the way?

Darn it, @Salmon Mousse, I was hoping for a solo with Kaczynski, but I suppose he's well-enough known others will have him, too. Oh, well, 5 years (?) playing and I had my first solo hit this year with Jonathan Spence, historian, author, and Sinologist. That was a thrill!

@Etushispushingupdaisies, I have John Daly on my list, too. You educated me on Gastineau; I had no idea he had the health concerns he has. I hope Kareem sticks around a while. I enjoy reading whatever he writes. He's a thoughtful man. I agree with you on Jimmy Carter, but I think he's such a good man I can't bear to put him on my list. (Very ineffective President, but a good man).

Great hit, congrats. As an American, I'd never heard of her until this year and was hoping she could hang on to join my 2022 list. Having said that, breast cancer sucks, and I'm glad she's out of her pain now.

As an American, I can only offer my deepest apologies that this narcissist has been unleashed on you, and now, clearly, back to her home shores. Please know that there are MANY Americans who see through all her lies and manipulation that poor, dumb Harry is too thick to understand. She has isolated him from family, friends, and country like a champ, a classic narcissist move. She's a horrible human being, and together they are a blight. They do not elevate any conversation or situation. They exude selfishness. I wish that Parliament would rescind their titles, because if I understand correctly, that's the only institution that can make that decision. I'm sure there are more pressing matters for your politicians to be concerned with, but the less these two grifters have to sell or market themselves on, the better. I am sickened by them. Pretty flippin' pissed off. I dislike them with an intensity that is quite unhealthy. If only the Royal Family had a "fixer" who could help "sort out" the situation behind the scenes. If Prince Philip is nearing an imminent death, it isn't a Prince who's dying, it's a husband and father. Where I live in the US, which, granted, is the middle of absolutely nowhere, at end of life family is allowed to come and visit in person. Charles and Philip have never been close. I cannot imagine a scenario where Charles is the one person to say their goodbyes in person.

Damn straight! His death is, after all, all about ME. It sucks to see your kids die before you, and it sucks to linger and decline for months/years on end. I work in skilled nursing, so I know this to be true. I'm glad for him that he's released of earthly cares and woes.

I am SCREAMING in my house right now. I didn't have him on my list and I thought about him and I don't know WHY I didn't put him on. ARRRGH!!! I am so mad at myself right now! I loved his show. Actually got to speak to him once when I called in a question.

The organizer in me would like to see Phil die this year. That way the 2020 Death List will have lost its #1 and its #50. There would be a nice symmetry to that.

Sting has just cancelled some tour dates due to an "unspecificed illness". Enty over at CDAN who, granted, can create totally false rumours out of thin air, is hinting at throat cancer. Sting could have the flu, he could have cancer and beat it due to ayurvedic yoga practices, or he could be dead in a year. Who knows? Just wanted to toss in a new name to keep our eyeballs on over the next few months.
