Tuesday 1115, which as everyone knows is the year that the Mixtec ruler Eight Deer Jaguar Claw was defeated and sacrificed by his brother in law.

That just says exactly the same as I said above - if someone dies within 28 days of their first positive Covid test they're included - if not they aren't.

The number is the number of people who've died within 28 days of a positive Covid test. That's quite black and white, isn't it? Doesn't matter what's on the death certificate - if someone tested positive 27 days ago then walks in front of a bus, they'll be included.

Interested to know why you say this? Higher or lower than reality? Anyway, Sunday I'll go for 737 (which is apparently Battle of the Baggage )

Saturday 1182 - Battle of Belvoir Castle

Thursday - Battle of Stoke - 1487

I'll go with 1303 - Battle of Dimbos (which is actually a battle, not heated Cabinet discussions.)

Wednesday 999. Of course (in normal times) January 6th is statistically the most common day to die, so expecting Thursday's number to be a biggie.

Must be a right ball-ache doing it manually. I reckon it might be possible to set up an Excel spreadsheet that would work it all out for you though. If I find myself bored during 2021, which looks increasingly possible, I might see what I can knock up for you (assuming you intend to do it again next year!)

Yeah Dean Smith is looking like an unexpected stayer!

Same, I had him at #2 so got 24 points. Without that I have been second (depending on where the people above me had him, of course.)
