Think I'd go with March 24th and it may be covid-19 related...

If my memory is correct, I believe that half a million americans alone died from H1N1 (or swine flu) back in 2009 which started in Mexico. It went on for over a year. Coronavirus is far more lethal which means we'll easily surpass a mil and possibly way more within the next year. A vaccine is probably not ready before late 2021. Life will eventually get back to normal but 10.000 tops is not only optimistic but unrealistic at this rate.

Denmark closes it borders for a month and will guard it with military. We really do not want to end up like Italy. 0 deaths but 800 cases and lots of untested people (including my mom who has been sick with something that sounds like a flu but could be Covid-19). Crazy times.

Sadly, it has just been reported that a person died in Denmark due to the virus. 80 years old. We are at 800 cases and 2 recovered. So similair patterns between Denmark and Norway. Edit: OK they dont count the victim as a Covid-19 death but as natural causes since he died of a heart attack.

Sorry for multiple posts. But holy shiiiit. Denmark is shutting down. Completely. No events must have 100 or more people attending. Every institution, schools, libraries, bars, resturants etc. is shutting down the next 14 days, and people over 60 are being told to stay home. I can't believe this.

Stay safe! Only a matter of time now. Here in Denmark, schools and Unis are starting to shut down. We reached 320 cases this morning and our government will soon forbid Mass gatherings. Sadly, we are drawing closer and closer to The 1st deaths in Scandinavia. Edit: 25 mins after this post cases in Denmark went from 320 cases to 442 just now. 1300 in quarentine.

Spooky. I was about to post the exact same thing.

I could honestly see DJT be infected with Covid-19 and become seriously ill. He is stubborn and wont test even though he has been in contact with people who are quarentined. Death is also a possibility but I cant make that prediction as of now when we dont know how this will evolve over the coming weeks and months.

Damn its really getting worse in Norway. 113 cases in Denmark. Government just raised the risk level on getting infected from low to high and are considering closing down more high populated areas. Copehagen Business School had its first two cases and so did a gym. Plus, an infected were out partying all friday and may have infected a handful. No deaths yet. My prediction from February about a max of 4 deaths in the coming months still stands. As a Teacher, we are really touched by this, and schools all around are worried. Mainly because a lot of families were on holiday in Italy in the holiday time a few weeks ago. Edit: 156 now. Edit: Just jumped from 156 to 252.

Think we'll hit the 5000 by friday honestly.

From 23 to 35 in Denmark. Football is being played in the 2 top divisions behind closed doors. Super weird. I was going to attend a huge match tomorrow in the Danish Superliga but it's behind closed doors too. Bummer as season ticket holder. Every game for the remaining of march is behind closed doors. We had our Eurovision qualifying show last night too with no audience. So awkward.

Everything cancelled in Denmark. Sports, concerts, TV-shows (talent shows, Grand Prix etc.), everything with an attendance over 1000. The mass hysteria is reaching its peak here. And 22 people are infected...

Not only that. Brøndby IF's assistant manager, director of board and a player is quarantined due to being close to him. Another club in Danish top tier football, Lyngby BK, has 3 of their main players in quarantine due to being in contact with Kahlenberg after the Brøndby-Lyngby match last sunday.
