According to this caption, this is Bob Barker at the 34th Daytime Emmy awards. Bob may only have one suit, but I am guessing that those two lovely ladies have more than 1 dress, so it is definitely the same awards ceremony as what you posted from. Which was in 2007. Which is therefore the same awards ceremony that Toast posted a picture from already.. Cant accept it, I'm afraid

I will definitely accept that, as I am fairly certain it is a different year to those posted previously. However, I am also almost certain it is from 1995, not 1982. I am guessing you got it from USmagazine.com where they have that picture beside the section on him winning an Emmy in 1982. However they have just inserted random pictures into that article, regardless of the timeline.

My extensive research suggests that this is from the 34th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2007. These Emmy photos are going to be difficult to assess, because similar to Tony Bennett, Bob Barker appears to be wearing the same suit with the same red handkerchief in the pocket at all of the Emmy ceremonies! And you can't tell by the look of his face, as the older he got, the younger he looked! For example, this is Bob receiving a 1996 Daytime Emmy award.

It's really not difficult to find information on the origin of the gris-gris (or gri-gri) as an amulet or charm originally from Islamic healers, then absorbed into African culture, and from there via slaves to the south of America. I did actually read The Unbearable Lightness of Being when I was younger, and it made about as much sense as the scoring system of this pool!. Probably took me about as long to read it as it does to update the pool and all. I have not managed to discover who attempted to cheat the scoring system by adding a "Personal Life" section to Kundera's Wikipedia page after his death, but it goes without saying that no bonus points will be given for that one. Bit of a QO dilemma. My own pick Nick Hitchon died on 23rd July, but somewhat surprisingly (to me at least), there has been very little in terms of obits. The best I can come up with is this: Remembering Professor William “Nick” Hitchon - College of Engineering - University of Wisconsin-Madison The obit rules for this pool states that: "4. Social media posts, personal blogs etc do not count. " However that is not a personal blog - it the College of Engineering blog. So does it count? As is my wont in these situations, my instinct is to wait and see if anything better shows up, therefore putting off actually making a decision. Were it another players pick, I would probably allow it, but as I have an obvious conflict of interest, I will wait for now.
