I think a lot of people told him to stand.

Of course, those were the voices in his head saying "Nige, you could actually win a seat, the Tories are in wipeout mode". It is simply self-advancement, self interest.

A man who blames absolutely every ill the UK is suffering on immigration. Unfortunately, he has been handed that platform by a Government who has let it get out of control, but it is a ridiculous one issue party. First it was the EU, then Brexit wasn't done properly, now this.

He's simply the National Front/BNP representative of today. As bad as Galloway.

Forget the other issues about GB News etc, that is the real story here.

Come the next election he will probably be leader of the opposition having either taken over the Tories or reform having eclipsed the Tories.

And my bold prediction is he will be PM sometime in the next 15 years. It just feels inevitable just like how Boris felt inevitable for so long.

100% it's connected in some way. Said here previosly that it would be interesting to see if GB News falls away either going online a la Talk TV or all together after July as I suspect Ofcom will finally get their finger out of their arse from July.

Polling shows Labour is winning among GB News viewers.

YouGov reckons Labour on 422, Tories on 140; a working majority of 194. That’s bigger than Blair’s, and the biggest since Baldwin’s 100 years ago.

It reckons losses include cabinet ministers Jeremy C-hunt, Corinne Shapps, Penny Dreadful, Alex Chalk, Gillian Fuckinggood-Job, Victoria Prentis, David Davies and Johnny Mercer. BrexitHardManSteve Baker, Bin Afolami and Lee Rowley also in trouble.

Steve Baker’s seat is even described as Safe for Labour because Emma Reynolds majority could be that big there

Keir Starmer refuses to take part in the BBC debate with all 7 parties scheduled for 7th June.

He will do a head to head with the Prime Minister on 26th June and a Question Time special on 20th June.

BBC trailing the 7th June debate as ‘party leaders’, so ball firmly back in their court as to whether they empty chair him or loosen it to allow a party representative instead.

Penny Mourdant to represent the Tories.

MRP projection for Clacton if Farage runs puts him on 37% with the Tories second on 27%.

If Farage runs it’s game over for the Tories and brace for electoral wipeout.

More likely through the Tories did seem to benefit more than Labour in 2015 when UKIP got 12.6%.

Farage to make an ‘emergency general election announcement’ at 4pm. Can only presume he’s donning his flip flops and has now decided to stand himself and will resume leadership of Reform. He couldn’t possibly see all that debate airtime up for grabs and let it slip by, could he?

Clacton is looking for a candidate after their current one was embroiled in an antisemitism scandal.

Clacton is probably the perfect seat for him if he does want to win. Demographicly and politically it all fits for several reasons.

Emma Jones, semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2015 apparently died mid-February. There's this link which as a non user of FB I cannot access. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005908540372

    Anyhow, let's remember her.

Was finally reported by the Mirror today - even given the push notification treatment. https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/britains-talent-semi-finalist-32-32944144
