That’s quite unusual for someone so young but David Martindale the manager of Livingston has revealed he suffered badly from Covid in 2020 and that might be why he has suffered badly from Pneumonia.

Like slipping off those new shoes that hurt your heels into some comfy slippers.
Also the Independent have used the same AP wire for an article.

It’s just like the Daily Mail wires system - articles brought in from elsewhere but not all articles produced by that source get published on there.

I think the chances of her getting it beat are pretty slim.

She was in my team until the honours list came out and I removed her (as the youngest member) for Virginia McKenna.

Now we know it’s Prostate cancer it is less surprising he has survived so long - it’s common for even the end stages of that cancer to last a long time.
Sounds like he could be around for a few months yet as he is still hoping to visit the House of Lords.

Esther Rantzen will be on the list unless she (and this is the most likely outcome) dies before then.

If she makes it to 2024 a main list cert but that feels rather unlikely.- 4

Not everyone's cup of tea; there were some punk bands I didn't/don't like but I wouldn't have called Television punk; (nor Blondie, The Ramones, or Green Day, all of which/whom I have seen described as punk).
I don’t think Blondie is anywhere near punk. My parents like them.

31 minutes ago, time said:Punk is the antithesis of mainstream. Despite your name, you're too young to have been around during the punk era.
True. Plus my parents both detest punk.

1 minute ago, Sir Creep said:I can understand how that may be. He (and Television) was as important to the New York punk underground as the early innovators were in London/U.K. Maybe not Sex Pistols important, but no far fae it.
SC
Punk is not that mainstream in the Uk - the majority of the Uk could only name the Sex Pistols if asked to name a punk band.

Gets a Guardian breaking news alert but I can’t say I have ever heard of him or the band before.

This definitely did not merit a BBC breaking news notification on my phone early.
They've got a trigger happy intern sending those notifications right now.
Is it you, Crem?At least it’s actually breaking News rather than some notifications from both the BBC and Sky which are just filler articles.
