You might not know her name but I find hard to believe you can't recognize Dolores' voice by the first sound

I think her fame is average. My parents had no idea who she was but my aunt and her Irish husband both knew who she was.

Mad to think she was working in a chip van in Rotherfield in 2010.

Another high profile female Scientologist dying after Kirstie Alley last month although Lisa Marie apparently left recently to seek mental health treatment.

She left in 2014 I think.

    Grandmother was an alcoholic.
Father was a prescription drug addict and had a terrible diet.
She has a history of opioid addiction, and I'm willing to bet that when the autopsy comes out she had at least one in her system.

So I don't think genetics are the biggest factor here.

If she dies soon of course. Very Unlikely but she could recover or maybe a bit more likely be in a coma for a lengthy period before dying.

Oh thanks for the reminder about the imminent DLCup- will she see 2024 I wonder?

Odds are she will either die in the next week or recover and live for a lot longer.

The Tory Party very recently introduced one in their candidate selection process for future elections. I'd argue that they should've had it years ago but instead the internal candidates board was almost entirely focussed on the ability to debate, write and deliver speeches etc. Would have weeded out a lot of headcases (Vicky Ford, Andrew Bridgen, Julian Knight, Rob Roberts etc) who ultimately became MPs. Labour have the same problem ofc, but not nearly as bad under Starmer as it was under Corbyn. Michael Crick has an interesting page on Twitter covering future parliamentary candidates and they all seem to be relatively sane in comparison to some who currently occupy the seats on the green benches!

What’s the issue with Vicky Ford? She seems fairly sane.

She attended the Golden Globes 2 days ago. It has to be said, this isn't the complexion of a healthy person.

It’s not. She looks older than her mum Priscilla.

Whereas I'm increasingly of the view that, barring death, he'll run for re-election, due to the lack of other contenders.

    Though he shouldn't.

I think the dems will decide to force him out deciding the republicans are also a shambles they still might win.

I never thought he would last the full 4 years but I was picturing either death or simple retirement (over personal or health reasons) but I wasn't expecting anything like this.

They might still pull the health reasons as dignified way to resign.

May have been a wise decision to drop.

Spoke to the Guardian earlier about Gerry O'Hara and they said they won't be running an obituary due to a big backlog of showbiz type obits (most of which have already been published online but haven't yet appeared in print). News to me they were still printing the Guardian but whatever!

This backlog will probably have an impact on other potential hits as well going forward as well.
