Wasn't it revealed (whether it was just utter tosh or not, I forget...there was lots of mad stuff about Savile that turned out to be true) that the police briefly suspected Jimmy Savile to be the Yorkshire Ripper? And there are still some conspiracy theorists who believe he was?

Kirk Douglas is far, far more famous than Stan Lee. One of the last of Hollywood's Golden Era, plus father of Michael Douglas versus someone involved in the relatively fringe interest of Comic Books. Not even a contest.

Isn't it now widely accepted the the oldest "verified" person was a complete fake and was being impersonated by her own daughter all along? Jeanne Calment - who it was meant to be, but her daughter pretended to be her after she died (while faking her own death) for financial reasons? And research has unearthed fairly clear evidence it was all a hoax? -

Staggering to think he is five months younger than Kenneth Kaunda!

Former Test cricketer Datta Gaekwad would possibly get a qualifying obituary, although the last of his 11 tests was almost 60 years ago. His so was the Indian cricket coach twice, which makes it slightly more likely.

What is Rusty Goffe up to these days? -
Seemingly one of the most decent people out there in the profession. There aren't too many actors who are closely associated with more than one key role* but Basil Brush, Yes Minister and Heartbeat isn't a bad resume at all. *out in the lead would probably be David Jason, with Granville, Del Boy, Pop Larking and Inspector Frost.

Clearly DIcky O is still such a sexual dynamo that a few minutes with a young woman still means their husband has to take them half way around the world to avoid his clutches.

Believe the first time I'd ever heard of P-Orridge was when the 2020 list appeared online. Which surprises me as online accounts suggest he is someone I would have heard of.

Controversial opinion: his save against Pele was overrated due to it being against Pele.

Looks remarkably good for his age. Would be interesting to find out who has lived at Brinsworth the longest. Dicky O may have a crack at breaking the record.
