If you use the ignore me function, no one will suffer for it

You're asking a whole userbase, that have been here for years, to accommodate a new user by expecting them to all ignore your odd habit. Is there not an ounce of you that thinks you're being selfish or unreasonable?

FYI I find your strange behaviour fascinating rather than irritating. Keep liking posts for all I care, just be aware if you continue you're not doing to be well liked.

EDIT: I'm aware I'm probably wasting my breath posting this as it will be translated with a convoluted response. It's worth a try!

Can you please learn how to format posts / use an efficient translator if English isn't your first language?

Reading your posts are enough to trigger a stroke.

  3. Wonderful, another ghastly political thread where the health of the person is the least discussed topic.

Another thread to ignore while Deathlist members keep the thread insufferably active by throwing shit at each other 'til page 329193.

St Mirren, Celtic and Scotland striker Frank McGarvey has been diagnosed with cancer

Frank McGarvey's diagnosis doesn't sound too promising.

"I've been to the hospital and they've told me what's probably going to happen to me.

"This might be my last time to see them [Celtic], so if I can just thank them very much for everything.

"When you come to see your family for the last time maybe, it's sad."

Here's the thing about Ryan O'Neal. There are a lot of people who hate him because of some celebrity/family drama. The second thing to notice is that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012. However, due to that celebrity drama, O'Neal has been hidden from the spotlight and has become a recluse. We actually don't know if Ryan is in remission, if he's cancer free, or if his condition has gotten worse. So we don't really know.

He was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in 2012, that doesn't simply go away.

There has been frequent updates on his health on here, as well as pictures. He doesn't look good.

  6. Taking another break from presenting as his cancer spreads further.

“A recent scan showed that my cancer has spread further so it’s back to some tough stuff.

“I’m missing my colleagues. Working in the newsroom has been such an important part of keeping energised and motivated.

“I look forward to being back in that studio as soon as I can.”

  7. So considering my 5th place ranking in the DDP, here is the current breakdown of my survivors. Not that I think I have any chance of taking the title!

George Alagiah - would be nice for him to score this year, although he’s still presenting the news, albeit quieter on the socials.

Rob Burrow - someone that I thought would topple this year. Seems stable and will probably make it to 2023.

Bobby Caldwell - family still asking for prayers as of August. Don’t think this is his year.

Frank Field - stresses me out that this bloke is still alive when everyone assumed he’d be an early year hit. Besides one comment about him receiving hospice at some point, how ill is he? And is he worth keeping for 2023?

Alan Melinek - piano playing tiktoker with pancreatic cancer. Unique pick, would be a nice 10 pointer if he does go.

Larry Pressler - another pancan pick. Not impossible that he’ll die this year but he does, wouldn’t reward me with a lot of points either way.

Vicky Phelan - dare I say she’s a lock for this year? Not heard a peep from her since August. Was serving Gary Burgess bloat energy in her most recent pictures.

Tammy Slaton - Very fat reality ‘star’ who probably has her own gravitational pull. Last health news I heard was that she had a trachea infection and still in a medical facility. Still looks like shit on her TikTok and still active.

And then there’s Dan Lacey, who I thought would get a low bar QO due to his odd paintings of A-listers. How wrong that was.

Do you guys think I should change the number of subs to 2 (or even 1)

No. Having 3 subs prevents people from scoring with celebs that are going to die imminently, then replacing them with another deaths-door pick and scoring with them.

I like that the third sub has to be carefully chosen. They can’t be too dying or else they won’t make the list (a lot of us are being optimistic with Rolf!)

Just leave the current rules be and make suggestions when the pool is near the end. Chopping and changing the rules when the pool has already begun is messy.

  9. Bobby Charlton wouldn’t be a wise drop. It was revealed he had dementia in 2020 and he was probably suffering for a while before it was made public.

He wasn’t well enough to attend his brothers funeral in July 2020. Unless he had to miss it due to COVID at the time. Nevertheless I don’t think he should be dropped. Denis Law however is still clearly in the earlier stages.

Van Dyke and Attenborough will probably stay on until they die. Even the healthiest 95+ year olds can suddenly drop dead. Another one that was seemingly in good health and died suddenly was Carl Reiner who was actively tweeting and doing interviews months before he died.

I’d personally like to see Fay Weldon on the list next year. Sandra Day O’Connor can’t be overlooked either, her dementia must be very advanced now.
