Don't worry I just realised Rumours is one of their albums, which puts the missing link in for me....

I get these are Fleetwood Mac song titles and I'm probably being thick but I don't get how the bold one fits in...

Bearing in mind that 545 will include death lag for the weekend I'm going 385 for tomorrow.

Georgie Tyree Boyce, 30, and wife Natalie Adepoju, 27 found dead. He was an actor who appeared in the first Twilight film. Cause of death unknown, police don't suspect criminality. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-52719874

The study that was being referred to used best estimates based on observed and theoretical declines of Vo2 max levels. However as I said it's been discredited pretty much.

But this is based on developed nations. There's plenty of unverified but not disproven claims far in excess of Jean Calment's age. My point was more that the scientific study your refer to has been shown to be heavily flawed.

There's an estimate half a million over 90s in the UK. Legitimate conscripts (those of age) would need to be at least 93 years of age to have served. And they would be an outlier as that was rear end of the war. Realistically anywhere between a few hundred and a few thousand maybe?

This research is not by any means accepted. It's believed to have had serious errors in it.

He last posted in March 2016 and just sorta disappeared. Also your PMs are either full or off...

That science is far from conclusive at this point. Hence the suggestion that western organisations - specifically genealogical and population ones should help establish concrete bmd registration on an internal basis,
-
Realistically there's probably a few hundred people aged 130 to 150 in the world. The West should really start to fund proper birth marriage death records for every country.

Bob Weighton looks like he could easily live a few years more. Also is 'Dean of humanity' a weird translation or is that the French term for it?

My favourite is the bloke who claimed to be 615 in 1876

It might be recognised by the official bodies but it's recognised because the fraud can't be proven not because it didn't happen.

Unfortunately the social media age has sent everything out of whack on this. People are conditioned in their teens to continue caring about online popularity as it affects real life popularity. Being an old fart person of maturer years you escaped the worst of that.

Bundesliga was on tonight. Odd but watchable. -
To be fair the word was probably last in common usage around the same time NotAPotato was last a regular member here.

Amazingly this spectrum is in my experience inverted with regards to the internet...

That's a Sunday figure, it'll go back up 250-300 this week. We're still a few months from nobody. -

@YoungWillz I have a strong suspicion that whilst Tony Pena is marked as footballer, the previous host awarded the 62 year old baseball-er who has no chance of dying as is traditional disqualification where possible for the pool as the host wasn't feeling nice. For next year it may be worth clarifying this rule applies to any underage picks at all traditionally in conjunction.

What! You MEAN to say some companies might go bust in a global recession. Cheers Nostradumus.
