James Baker, (Born 1930) served as White House Chief of Staff for both Reagan and Bush Sr. He also served as U.S. Secretary of State from 1989 to 1992. Has remained a popular figure in establishment circles, and continues to be quoted in popular press regarding foreign affairs. Was recently the subject of a major biography and PBS documentary.

If I may argue my case, while he wasn't as well known as his brother, he was a fairly well known author in his own right.
