Another pointless post...

And you thought that comment was worth bumping this thread for? Nobody is interested in your opinion on country music. Unless you have news about Loretta Lynn's health, then there's no need to comment here.

And in English?

Pretty damn old? She's only fifty fucking six.

I'd probably add Liza Minelli, Candi Staton, Roberta Flack, Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick to name a few. And possibly Elton John?? I watched a programme on the BBC about Divas last night and it defined a diva as being a woman who has been through adversity in her life but come back stronger, with a bit of an attitude. Oh, and someone adored by gay men. Mariah, Whitney, Cher, Grace Jones and Beyonce were the divas the focussed on, but there are so many more.

She was in Over The Rainbow, one of those reality shows on BBC with Andrew Lloyd Webber looking to find his Dorothy for the Wizard of Oz musical. Utter tripe. -
Those reports are from 2018 (The Sun) and 2014 (Worcester News), and the Bucks Free Press article is Colin Baker writing about his terminally ill colleague Brian Rix (who has since died). This does not equate to there being "quite a lot of reports of him being ill" and he's definitely not terminally ill.

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist

The month of May has been disappointing so far in terms of celebrity deaths. Out of those who have died, only Olympia Dukakis and Nick Kamen are household names in the UK. I reckon we're going to have a wave of deaths at the end of the month though - my money is on Bob Dole, Jimmy Carter, Leslie Philips, Sarah Harding and Tom Parker going in the next few weeks. And possibly Jeff Bridges. -

I mean, posts like this will probably get you banned. I don't think the aim of this forum is to wish death on people, more to predict and inform.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
GEMINEYE replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
With the possible exception of Clarissa Eden, I don't think any of the current centenarians are well-known enough in the UK to be included on the deathlist. I don't think the likes of Boris Pahor or Norman Lloyd are household names. I hadn't heard of them until I started to take an interest in possible deathlist types. -

Watched the tribute to Johnny Briggs on ITV earlier, hoping for some form spotting on the older cast members. No sign of Julie Goodyear, Barbara Knox or Bill Roache who i thought might have made an appearance (not sure we can read much into that, what with there being a pandemic on), but I thought Goodyear would've had something to say if she was up to it. Amanda Barrie featured on it, looking and sounding pretty good, even though she did raise a glass to Briggs and said "see you soon, probably, in the Rovers bar in the sky". Also, any recent news on John Savident (Fred Elliott)? He must be over 80, I say he must be over 80, and wasn't exactly the picture of health 20 years ago! -
Bob Dole. Stage 4 lung cancer at his age, he can't have much longer to go.
-
Photo of Prince Charles after visiting Prince Philip, looking a bit teary. I think we will have hit No.5 soon, if it hasn't happened already...
-
The last major Royal deaths - the Queen Mother, Princess Margaret and Diana - all occurred on a weekend. Will Philip follow suit?

There's a "crew of the USS enterprise" thread - i don't think she needs one of her own, but agree she is one to watch.

I think she was bumped on the 2nd for a Captain Tom tribute as he'd just croaked it.

It's "you're". Moron.
