  1. She's been leap-frogged twice in just over a week, so her bodily components along with their functions are more robust than I first thought. Perhaps we should remove her from the next 5 death lists? Thinking of what the odds could be of Charlie leap-frogging her too, I'll check with my local bookie and may have a flutter on him. As a side bet, I'm also thinking that Boris Johnson could be assassinated while still in office (wishful thinking on my part) as he's one of the most detested statesmen on the planet.

It’s nowhere near 2 hours….more like 25 minutes. The royals come out just before 11…the 2 minute silence…wreath laying…and a couple of verses of O God Our Help In Ages Past. Plus I’m sure they would have allowed her a seat.

She could've been given a commode if the issue was as minor as gastric turbulence. It could then have been emptied over Boris Johnson, shame to waste it.

I believe she is terminally I’ll and it’s 50/50 if she will make next summer.

I think she'll be lucky to see this Xmas and I'll be calling some bookies tomorrow, as I think the odds of her being the 10th on this list could be in our favour. For Kate to be so upset this year, something's up.

Depends how long the Queen goes on for if she lives as long as her mother did she will be around until late 2027 or early 2028 meaning Charles will 79 going on 80 when the Queen finally goes, if that is the case I can’t see Charles lasting 10 years on the throne as he won’t live as long as his parents have as I don’t think Charles is as healthy as Philip or the Queen were at the same age.

On my father's side... both grandparents (77/81) didn't live as long as my four great grandparents (83/86/94/101) and my father (72) didn't live as long as both grandparents, so I'd better start digging my hole ASAP. Too much stress on the modern World me thinks, and Liz doesn't have much to stress about apart from that evil granddaughter-in-law that Philip is now unable to deal with.

  5. I don't think that the statement from Boris saying that the country wishes her well, bodes well. This reminds me of all the hype and speculation just before Philip's body temperature settled between 2C and 4C. Charles will probably soon be sized up for the St Edward's Crown, the State Coach will have its moving parts greased and the 8 horses will be put through their paces. I wonder if those that have just ended furlough are looking for yet more paid days off? I don't think we'll see another DL without Liz on it, until after the event.

Doubt she gives two fucks about Boris. Just needs rest I'd say. She is 95 after all

I don't think anybody gives two fucks about Boris, I just hope that useless wanker has a different outcome than before when he's in the ICU next. I can't see as many well wishes next time around.

A friend did make the comment that he bet she didn't have to wear one of those gowns that do up at the back.

What a sight that would be if she had to bend over to pick up her false teeth if they fell out.

  8. She's probably missing Philip and hopes to join him soon, as the latest news could mean that it's sooner than she thinks. Could we witness either the coronation of King Charles III or King William V before next Easter? I wonder who will be consort, Chas' nag or Billy's tart?

Anyway, it's about time that we had another newsflash.

I'm sure you can still get them at petrol stations or even supermarkets.

I'm just confused as to how they started to appear within seconds of the announcement. Some look far better than the trash you get at corner shops and small supermarkets, just sayin'.

  10. I see that lots of flowers have been placed outside Buckingham Palace, with no greengrocer nearby or any florists open, where the Hell did people get them from? Were they nicked from St James' Park or did they scale the walls of the palace grounds to steal them from there? Not being distasteful, just wondering during the current dystopian era.

The list uses the age people will be at their birthday that year, can't know in advance whether they'll make it or not. Something of a 50/50.

Don't really see that it's disrespectful at all and even if it were has it therefore been disrespectful to all those that have gone before (that died before their birthday)?

I stand corrected, said the man in the orthopaedic shoes. I would've thought that they'd choose the age as of 01JAN of that year.

Heard about it just as I was leaving the house- I always hear these things at the worst times!  Sorry to hear about his death, he was a very unique guy, who dealt with the difficulties of his life by saying whatever he wanted, in the funniest wand wittiest way possible, not necessarily in the most tactful or diplomatic way.  The Queen must be devastated,  I hope she'll survive this, the greatest loss of her life- looks like it was announced at about 7:30 am over here, 12:30 over there-  did they tell you all about it at noon??

I heard about it when I was on the toilet, my girlfriend shouted the news to me from downstairs. At least I avoided shitting myself otherwise. Honestly, I thought he was a great guy and offended people in the nicest possible way, a legend! I think the Queen will be fine, she's a tough cookie. Charles will be the more devastated one I think.

I don't think the Queen and Philip have actually spent much time together in recent years.  She'll miss him, but not that much imo.

I doubt that she'd have jumped on his bones in bed that often, with him being so fragile in recent years.

I don't believe there will be state funeral - and if there is it will be a muted event with no state holiday.  I hope I'm wrong but a day of mourning is only de rigueur when the sovereign dies.

There'll still be sheeple waving their silly little flags.

Well, in his day people had thicker skin.  In our modern 'woke' world everybody has a right to be offended, so it's impossible to say anything in public that isn't inane or just a platitude.

I'm a white, taffy, snowflake, honkey and very proud of it! People need to grow a pair.... off to YouTube to catch up on Love Thy Neighbour.....
