Harris' directorial debut was the thriller "The Bedford Incident" (a dramatic and interesting treatment of the Cold War with Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier). Never a prolific director, James B. She recorded more than 50 albums, but ceased singing. The iconic and popular singer has been fighting for several years against a degenerative disease which could make her blind. It is a great film. But my favourite is "From Russia with Love". "From Russia with Love" is all a James Bond film needs to be: A classic spy plot, beautiful women, entertaining action scenes, cool gadgets, great villains, spectacular locations (Istambul and Venice) and the introduction of famous elements of the Bond franchise including SPECTRE and Q. Sean Connery is good as always and he's very charismatic as James Bond, but Robert Shaw is a strong adversary to Bond as the assassin and the fight in the train carriage is memorable.
