To add to the running list of Congresspeople with cancer, Glenn Thompson, John Garamendi and Raul Grijalva also have cancer. Greg Murphy also had a tumour in his skull removed. Scalise, Raskin, Joaquin Castro, Russ Fulcher and Dan Kildee (retiring) also were diagnosed within the last 3 years but seem to be in remission now.

No, Patrick Gasienica and Maxim Gustik both died in 2023.

George Ariyoshi (98) of Hawaii is the oldest former US Lieutenant Governor now, followed by George Nigh (97) of Oklahoma and Nick Theodore (96) of South Carolina.

Nothing, unfortunately. Maybe the obituary could be still yet to be published. A family tree posted by a sister-in-law on Ancestry also has the same date.

Society for International Hockey Research (SIHR)'s database. It's a member-only resource, though.

Tom McGrattan is also deceased, he died in 2022 without any obituary being published.
-
Seems to be referenced as still living in 2018 and this past August.

Yes... that's what I was saying.

It's not particularly unheard of for military personnel to die without a traditional obituary being published (immediately or at all) - perhaps a check of the VA Cemetery Database in a few months could verify it.

Update: Died May 26, 2004 in Viña del Mar as per his death certificate.

Appears to have died in 2013 per this death registry extract attached. Possibly/likely deceased, as his name shows up on a list of cancelled Chilean identity numbers (usually meaning they are deceased) which is available via a genealogical group. It's possible to request a death certificate extract at https://www.registrocivil.gob.cl with a Chilean identity card.

Turns out he actually died in October.

The recently deceased Richard Davis (https://www.nme.com/news/music/richard-davis-bassist-van-morrison-astral-weeks-died-3495860) was in hospice care for two years before he died...

My thoughts too, I wonder if those records are publically available somewhere? Pretty sure there was some legislation put into place around 2014 that made them stop updating it.
-
The better question, I think, is where was the data scraped from? It is getting increasingly harder to find more recent death information now that the SSDI has stopped being updated, and people dying in states like California, New York and Florida often have no obituaries published. Not to mention that it seems that not publishing an obiatuary or announcement seems to be more common nowadays.

Henderson was still alive in 2018 according to his sister's obit: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/en-ca/obituaries/ft-collins-co/nancy-fischer-7963121.

This seems to stem from multiple unsourced Wikipedia edits stating that he died on March 6. He is indeed not listed on the Minnesota DOC inmate search anymore, so it seems like it is likely correct. This was his listing (archived: https://web.archive.org/web/20220306011229/https://coms.doc.state.mn.us/publicviewer/OffenderDetails/Index/100736/Search) and it's blank now: https://coms.doc.state.mn.us/publicviewer/OffenderDetails/Index/100736/Search

Likely the case. The son apparently used the surname Chapas in high school, so maybe that is a clue (though no immediate hits). Marriage story: https://www.newspapers.com/clip/74157049/pat-parrish-elopement-to-las-vegas-to/

Yes, it is the right person per marriage and birth records as well as a newspaper article on the actress' marriage to William Casey.

Not listed as a survivor in her son's obituary from 2011: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/en-ca/obituaries/las-vegas-nv/cary-casey-4723302

Variety source now has this... Clarification: An earlier version of this story included a statement attributed to Jan Crosby that Variety has not been able to independently confirm with others in Crosby’s camp.
-
Plus, forgoing death notices/obituaries is starting to become more common nowadays.

She is listed as Mrs. Lou Muccuilla (*probably Miccuilla) of Las Vegas in her father's 1979 obituary. Interestingly, her father (b 1909) later married somebody around the same age as his daughter later in life and had two other daughters with her...
