Here's a report that confirmed Ramon Mayeregger of 1958 Paraguay is dead. No date of death given. There are conflicting sources if he was born in 1934 or 1937 but looks more like 1934 if he debuted in 1950.

Found some more deaths for the 1948 Olympics. Ilse Steinegger (Wiki) dies on 19 October 2023 at the age of 98 Lorna Lee (Wiki), someone wrote her date of death but forgot to put a reference so I found one -
From Startiger, Schnellinger has been sending out "no more autograph requests" from all the letters that he received from 2020 onwards. Beckenbauer has been sending out printed signatures this year compared last year where it could take him 6 months to fulfill it.

László Hódy (Wiki) later known as Les Hody, Hungarian basketball player, died on 26 May 2023. He first represented Hungary at the 1952 Olympics. After the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, he sought refuge and emigrated to Australia. There he changed his name to Les Hody and was able to acquire Australian citizenship. He then played for Australia in 1964 Olympics. In doing so, he became the first Olympian to compete for 2 countries. Fun fact, he was the youngest player for the 1952 Hungary team while he was the oldest for the 1964 Australian team.
