Comprehensive list of Brazilian players who suffered from dementia dated 2016. I think only 2 players on the list are still alive: João "Zico" Dias, and Nair Jose da Silva. No wiki page for Zico but has a Zerozero profile. Nair Jose strangely only has Polish wiki page despite never playing in Europe.

@Octopus of Odstock could you figure it out which Paul is being referred here if he is in Barry Hugman's? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02J7acWeLn7vbi1ENRJyToLupXULUf7r7rssi9J29QTxVQ8CLibtQznfpkQXrR2VqZl&id=234651450029204&mibextid=Nif5oz

This site mentions that he died on January 27, 2023. I saw that there used to be an entry for his wiki as well before it was removed for being unsourced. What is exactly his real name? Did he changed his name from his birthname?

Mehmet Dinçer also seems to be a common name in Turkey. The Turkish Football Federation has a Mehmet Dinçer on its database who was born in 1981 but no Mehmet who was part of the 1954 squad.

I think there is still that form of embarassment when revealing dementia according to a survey in the Netherlands, which has higher percentage of saying they prefer to keep it a secret compared to elsewhere in Europe. https://www.rtlnieuws.nl/nieuws/nederland/artikel/4856116/dementie-alzheimer-lewy-body-fred-visser-ziek-openheid

Looking for date of death for screenwriter and part time actor John Hale (Imdb). Imdb wrote that he was married to Valerie June Bryan until his death but it's possible that it's an error.

Summer Olympic Deaths/Dead Medallists

He was living in a retirement home located in Cheltenham, so he probably died there. https://web.archive.org/web/20220126212645/https://www.sanctuary-retirement-living.co.uk/living-with-us/resident-stories/ron It's a matter of research. Most of the time, this site https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk records almost all people who became officers of a company including those who have long resigned, retired, and even dead. It usually lists the individual's birthday and correspondence address. Otherwise, a little help from 192.com and phonebooks.
