    Sidenote: I noticed hits shared by official DL and Drop 40 but not Crowdsourced DL are quite rare. There have been only six such hits: Mary Tyler Moore and Jerry Lewis in 2017, Stephen Hawking in 2018, Valerie Harper in 2019, Shane MacGowan in 2023 and Derek Draper in 2024. As of 2024, the only living names who are currently shared by both official DL and Drop 40 but not Crowdsourced DL are Clint Eastwood, Willie Nelson, Prunella Scales and Buzz Aldrin.

     

    Updated this for 2024. Derek Draper becomes the sixth name (since inaugural CSDL) to be a hit for DL and Drop 40 but not CSDL.

     

    There are currently 14 living names shared by all three: Jimmy Carter, Dick Van Dyke, Pope Francis, Noam Chomsky, Mel Brooks, Nigel Starmer-Smith, James Whale, Stanley Baxter, Joanne Woodward, Denis Law, Linda Nolan, Bob Newhart, Esther Rantzen and Roberta Flack.
