Sergio Brighenti who was a prolific goalscorer in Serie A has died aged 90. He scored 155 goals in 360 odd appearances which is more than decent and was top scorer with 27 in season 1960/61. Was capped 9 times for Italy scoring 2 goals.

The last time I saw Paul Dooley was in a 2020 short film called The Gesture And The Word which was James Michael Tyler's last acting role. TBH I didn't think that Dooley looked like a man in his his nineties I would have guessed mid eighties so I'd say he has a few years left in him yet.

Another American golfer has a birthday today. Ray Floyd turns 80 and had a pretty successful career winning The US Open in 1986 and joint 2nd in The Open to Jack Nicklaus in 1978. -
