The tweet above means nothing imo. It's just some Canadian guy who appears to be a fan of royals. He probably made an inference based on the reports of him being moved out. (Not to mention the tweet had been up for almost a day before it was posted here, so don't take it as a "recent" development or anything.)

Dinamite is on Banana's submission up there.

I forget where I saw the stat, but I believe that, on Wikipedia, 90% of the names on the "Deaths in (year)" articles are men. The 2023 article is currently 92.8% men (169/182).

It has several of those sad heart-hug reactions, and he doesn't seem to change his PFP very often (not to mention the angel emoji). Tied with the Wiki edits, would seem a little much for it to be a random coincidence.

Looks to be true.

^ That photo is from November 2019.

And yet the gofundme died within a day of the article being published She has bedblocker potential IMO. This thread seemed convinced she was on death's door back in late 2021, but all we've really gotten since then is a Rolling Stone interview that doesn't mention any health problems. But given that her lungs are apparently fucked up I doubt she'll be dropped even if her condition isn't deathbed-level.

Down to three, Alan Copeland dead at 96.
-
He died after Ruth Adler Schnee and wasn't picked after that. Don't think he starts a new round.
-
Earl Boen dead at 81. Best known for playing Dr. Peter Silberman in the first three Terminator films. Also a very active voice actor (to quote WP: "He is known for voicing characters such as Mr. Bleakman in Clifford the Big Red Dog, Police Chief Kanifky in Bonkers, the Narrator in World of Warcraft, SeƱor Senior, Senior in Kim Possible, and Captain LeChuck in the Monkey Island series.")

Dick Savitt dead at 95

Nate Colbert dead at 76. Padres Hall of Famer and has their all-time home run record (163).

He's indicated several times that he felt he would have a fairly brief tenure and yet he's already coming up on a decade (and, at 86, he's now older than Benedict was when he abdicated). He's also said he felt Benedict "opened a door" for popes to retire instead of carrying on until they drop.

Announced to compose Hirokazu Kore-eda's new movie Monster. Comes out in June, so I guess he's got something to live for.

Zeffirelli also wrote the foreword to her memoir, which came out in the far-off pre-MeToo year of... 2018.

Yeah, it's true. Here's the funeral home listing.

The guy who made the Bowey surname page listed both of them at the same time. I guess he wasn't curious about there being two English wrestlers with similar names at the same Olympics...
-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Bowey https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edwin_Bowey Heh, looks like he has two Wikipedia pages (created in 2018 and 2019). The second one got his DOB right, it appears, though.

I don't figure he'll ever make the DL but I would expect that anyone in the UK with a passing interest in older Hollywood stuff would know who Holliman is. After all he's one of the few living guys from a number of big movies (Forbidden Planet, Giant, The Big Combo, The Sons of Katie Elder, The Rainmaker, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, etc.), along with the TV stuff already mentioned above.

Nice, a great opportunity to steal all the jokes everyone else has already made about "Elton Jhon" and the King of England.
